His wife spent the weekend in Iowa City when she visited him. Clyde Chapin returned home Sunday from Iowa City, where he had been a patient at Veterans Hospital a week. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Fryrear and daughters Susan and Cathy of LaHarpe spent the weekend in the home of his grandmother, Mrs. Flora Essex, and family. Kewanee Men Seek $55,000 in Court Case CAMBRIDGE — Four Kewanee men are seeking a total of $55,000 from the Supersweet Co., Darrell Nelson and the estate of Arthur Frankenfield of Geneseo. George Brown, Adolph A. Scho- pa, Charles M. Nichols and Dan Powell charge that on Aug. 21 the defendants contributed to an accident three miles north of the junction of 111. 81 and 82. The Kewanee men were driving to work in Rock Island at the time of the accident, and were being followed by a truck owned by the Supersweet Co. which Nelson was driving. Both vehicles were northbound. Frankenfield was coming from the opposite direction, and all three vehicles collided on a narrow bridge. Frankenfield was fatally injured in the mishap. Brown seeks $25,000 for permanent injuries and medical expenses, Schopa, Nichols and Powell are asking for $10,000 each for injuries and loss of working time. All four requested trial by jury.
