Mr and Mr* Allen Hidhsbaugh plan to spend the Christmas weekend at Bagley with the respective parents. Mr and Mr.s Clarence Hidlebaugh and Mr and Mrs Wallard Foresman. Mr and Mrs Theodore Hutchison will be visited Christmas And for a few days by their son and daughter-in-law,' Mr and Mrs Ted Hutchison and daughter Holly of Iowa City. Baptismal riles were held Sun- dny at St. Cecelia's Catholic church for Blaine Alan, son of Mr and Mrs Donald Meyer and Georgia Marie, daughter of Mr and Mrs Marvin £. Leigh. Mrs Imelda Engesser was visited Friday and Saturday by her cousin Gertrude Fleming ot Mason City who also visited several friends. She returned 'to Mason City Saturday night. Mr And Mrs Dean Greeihursl of Calmar were weekend guests of the hitter's parents, Mr and Mrs h. E. Hovcy. The sister, Beverly, returned home with them for a visit of a few days. Mr and Mrs Gen6 Hood and Maty Jean nnd Mr and Mrs W. A. Barry Jr., and family plan to spend Christum.'; at Fun ijocigv with Mi and Mrs Lloyd Hood, parent-; of Grnr ;md Mrs Bairy. Mr and Mrs Chester L. Bailey arc leaving today for Clayton, N. M . to spend Christmas with their daughter, Mrs L. W. Graham, (ind Carr.:ly. Mr and Mrs C L. Aalfs and fnmilv of Sioux City will also be there. Mrs Graham and Mrs Aalfs are sisters. Mr and Mrs Paul James plan to have as guests Christmas the latter's brother-in-law anrt sister, Mr and Mrs Kermit BuHis )f Waterloo; Mrs Merrill Burti.; and Mr Burtis' sister, Mrs Luen;- Jotmsori, Ethel Jean and Paul iMauhew of fcstherville. Ricfiard, soft of Mr and Mrs Clifford Ringsdorf, returned to Algona Dec. 1, following his discharge from the army. He sbrv- ed for two years, including on« year in Germany, artd plans to resume hi§ studies £tt Hamillori Business College in Mason City. Mr and Mrs L. E. Hovey drove to Albert Lea, Minn., Friday to see the latter's father, Alfred Helland at a hospital there. He is now at home after three weeks of hospitalization for gall bladder surgery. Mr and Mrs Kenneth Kickbush will have as guests Christmas their yons-in-law and daughters, Mr and Mrs Paul Tegeland, Tom and Susan of Bclmond and Mr and Mr Joe Funk and daughter Vicki Lynn. Don, son of Dr, and Mrs C. D. Sch.iap, Algona, will begin his Christmas vacation from Kempor M i 1 i l a r y Institute, Booncville. Mo., Dec. 17. Don will return to Kcmpcr when his furlough ends, Jan. 3. Mr and Mrs Glenn Jones plan to spend Christmas at DCS Moines with the former's brother-in-law and sister, Mr and Mr.s James Lett. Mrs Nell McCall went lo Des Mninrs to attond the funeral services Saturday for her sister. Mrs Frank Schrodt-r. 75. who duci Wednesday of u heart attack.
