Immunization clinic slated TREMONT The Tazewell County Health Department will conduct an immunization clinic from 1 to 3 p.m. Oct. 26 at the department office. Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian or present a note of consent from a parent or legal guardian and be accompanied by an adult relative. Children's immunization records are needed.

George E. Clark LOWPOINT George E. Clark, 65, of rural Lowpoint died at 11 a.m. yesterday (Oct 18, 1990) at Saint Francis Medical Center, Peoria. His funeral will be at 10 a.m.

Monday at Mason Funeral Home, Metamora, the Rev. Neri Gres-koviak officiating. Burial will be in Buckingham Cemetery, Washburn. Military graveside rites will be accorded by American Legion Post 661, Washburn. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m.

Sunday at the funeral home. He was born March 10, 1925, in Lowpoint, a son of George T. and Zella Cary Clark. He married Helen Buchanan Sept 19, 1953, in Washburn. She survives.

Other survivors include his mother, Lowpoint; two sons, George Bellflower, and Dean, Lowpoint; two daughters, Becky Miller and Joann Clark, both of Lowpoint; three sisters, Barbara Knoblauch and Jayne Knoblauch, both of Lowpoint, and Norma Fandel, Metamora; and four grandchildren. His father preceded him in death. Mr. Clark was a farmer and owner-operator of Farm Restaurant and Catering in Lowpoint. He was a member of the Washburn Lions Club; American Legion Post 661, Washburn; and an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Memorials may be made to the Lions Club eye fund. Charles Verdiramo STREATOR The funeral of Charles Verdiramo, 73, of Streator will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St Anthony's Church, Streator. Burial will be in St Mary's Cemetery, Streator. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m.

today at Elias Funeral Home, Streator, with a prayer service at 7 tonight Mr. Verdiramo died at 10:32 a.m. Tuesday (Oct 16, 1990) at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Streator. Mr. Verdiramo was born Jan.

3, 1917, in Toluca, a son of Phillip and Rose Tagana Verdiramo. He married Helen Carrington Jan. 5, 1937, in Streator. She died Aug. 28, 1983.

Surviving are two sons, Philip and John, both of Streator; one sister, Vincenta Chalfant, Streator; three grandsons; one step-grandson; and two greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Mr. Verdiramo was a member of St Mary's Church and Knights of Columbus No. 709, both of Streator.

He owned and operated Verdiramo Trucking and Streator Northside Iron and Metal. Mary Frances Wolf MANSFIELD Mary Frances Wolf, 62, of Mansfield died at 5:52 a.m. Wednesday (Oct 17, 1990) at Covenant Medical Center, Urbana. A private family service was yesterday at Mansfield Cemetery. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Mansfield, handled arrangements.

She was born Jan. 6, 1928, at Mansfield, a daughter of William and Frances McKinney Jones Decker. She married Donald Wolf on Jan. 2, 1942. He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Donna Wolf, Mount Pleasant, Iowa; two sisters, Yvonne "Bonnie" Hannah, Mansfield, and Dolores Gomez, Kankakee. She was preceded in death by two brothers. yesterday (Oct 18, 1990) at Saint James Hospital, Pontiac. Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, Galesburg, the Rev. Charles Mann officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Galesburg.

Visitation will be for one hour before the service Saturday at the church. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Chapel, Galesburg, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Horst was born July 24, 1903, in Wren, Ohio, a daughter of Otis and Inez Dull Swoveland. She married the Rev.

Preston E. Horst on June 1, 1925, in Huntington, Ind. He died Aug. 17, 1970. Survivors include three daughters, Deloris Wadsworth, Essex Junction, Vt; Anetta Delicath, Col-linsville; and Betty Zimmerman, Rockford; one sister, Mildred Swoveland, Gilman; nine grand-children; and 14 greatgrandchildren.

One grandson preceded her in -death. Mrs. Horst was her husband's assistant during his many years in She ministry and his secretary hen he was district superintendent of the Decatur and Galesburg districts. After his death, she the parish visitor for the United Methodist Church. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Pontiac and the United Methodist Women PEO.

She was a 1924 graduate of Huntington College in Indiana. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church. Kenneth R. Chandler CULLOM The funeral of Kenneth R. Chandler, 82, Cullom, will be at 11 a.m.

Saturday at Stewart Home, Cullom. The Revs. Diana Elder and Hooper will officiate. Burial will be in West Lawn Cem- Cullom. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m.

today at the funeral home. I 'Mr. Chandler died at 12:10 p.m. Wednesday (Oct 17, 1990) at Saint Jj James Hospital, Pontiac. He was born Jan.

17, 1908, in Kankakee, a son of Charles and Myrtle Wall Chandler. He married lEthel E. "Babe" Ommen on May 29, 1939, in Cullom. She survives. Other survivors include one son, Richard, Piper City; one daughter, Patricia LaReau, Crown Point, two brothers, Charles, Ash-kum, and Thomas, Apache Junction, and two grandsons.

Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death. Mr. Chandler was educated in rural Iroquois County schools. He was a carpenter and worked on the building of the Elwood Ordinance i Plant near Joliet i He moved to Cullom in 1945, where he operated a garage and i did custom corn shelling for 20 I years. He was then employed as an operating engineer for Koerner Co.

in Coal City for five years until his health failed and forced his retirement in 1972. Mr. Chandler was a member of Cullom United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to Cullom Fire Department ambulance or a charity of the donor's choice. Lester W.

Downing MOUNT PULASKI Lester W. Downing, 74, of Mount Pulaski died at 1:40 p.m. yesterday (Oct 18, 1990) at Abraham Lincoln Memo-i rial Hospital, Lincoln. A memorial service will be at. 1 p.m.

Saturday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Mount Pulaski, Marvin Flowers officiat-. ing. Mr. Downing was cremated. His ashes will be buried in Mount i Pulaski Cemetery with full military rites conducted by Mount Pulaski American Legion Post 447.

There will be no visitation. He was born June 22, 1916, in rural Mount Pulaski, a son of Ellis and Ethel Ryan Downing. He married Vera Louise Brown May 7, 1943, at Nashville, Tenn. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Charles Wayne, Mountain City, one daughter, Darlene Thompson, Pekin; one brother, Eugene, Mount Pulaski; two sisters, Betty Atwood, Decatur, and Patricia Erlenbush, Mount Pulaski; and three grandchildren.

One brother preceded him in death. He was a retired farmer, a member of the Mount Pulaski Christian Church, an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, and a member of Mount Pulaski American Legion Post 447. Memorials may be made to his i church or Post 447. Donna M. Krutsinger Donna M.

Krutsinger, 84, of Sarasota, formerly of Normal, died at 12:22 a.m. Tuesday (Oct. 16, 1990) at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Her graveside service was yesterday at. Sarasota Memorial Park.

Toale Brothers Colonial Chapel, Sarasota, was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Krutsinger was born July 5, 1906, in Flora, a daughter of J. Logan and Ada Broiles Tibbs. She married Lowell V.

Krutsinger, who survives. Also surviving is one sister, Dorothy Valbert, Sarasota. Mrs. Krutsinger was a graduate of Washington University School of Nursing, St Louis. She moved from Normal to Sarasota in 1966.

She was a member of Church of the Palms Presbyterian in Sarasota. Dorothea C. Erion A private inurnnment service will be scheduled at a later date at Park Hill Mausoleum for Dorothea C. Erion, 84, of 408 E. Chestnut St, Bloomington.

She will be cremated. There will be' no visitation. Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Erion died at 10:30 a.m.

Wednesday (Oct 17, 1990) at her home. She was born Aug. 6, 1906; in Bloomington, a daughter of Willard Lee and Leticia Benedict Carlock. She married Earl B. Erion on Aug.

14, 1929, in Elgin. He survives. Other survivors include three brothers, Willard Carlock of New Jersey; Robert Carlock, Carbon-dale; and Orville Carlock, Albuquerque, N.M.; and one sister, Blanche Wood, Mount Carmel. Two sisters preceded her in death. Mrs.

Erion was a member of the Carlock Christian Church, Carlock, and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Bloomington. She graduated from Brown's Business College, Bloomington, in 1927. An avid golfer, she won 10 club championships at Lakeside Country Club from 1940 to 1954 and the Highland course championship in 1942. Twice she was the Bloomington-Normal city champion. Memorials may be made to the Elk's Crippled Children's Corporation, in care of Bloomington Elk's Lodge No.

281. Cecilia A. Fricke Cecilia A. Fricke, 86, of 410 E. Washington St, Bloomington, died at 3 a.m.

yesterday (Oct 18, 1990) at Brokaw Hospital, Normal. Her funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, with the Rev. Patrick O'Neal officiating.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bloomington. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the rosary recited at 6:30 p.m. Mrs.

Fricke was born Feb. 15, 1904, in Bloomington, a daughter of John and Isabella Burt Ehr-mahtrout She married Emmett H. Fricke on Oct 8, 1923, in Bloomington. He died May 3, 1980. Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Aboularage, Modesto, two sisters, Mary Ritchie, St.

Petersburg, and Florence Gremer, 403 W. Locust Bloomington; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by eight sisters and two brothers. Mrs. Fricke was a buyer for the infant and children's department of Roland's Department Store for many years.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Bloomington. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
