The club plans to sponsor a Halloween parade for pre-school and school children Oct. 31 at the old gym. The club recently sponsored a visit by the kindergarten to the Glen Oak Zoo in Peoria. Many of the new evening and dinner dresses have trains 12 to 18 inches long and will take training to wear with an unstudied Abbreviated Item A new length slip has been designed to wear with the abbreviated fall chemises. It's a wonderful item for under long evening dresses, too, when they are slit high above the knee.
