Saxton, 62, of 604 Sixth Hilltop Mobile Home Court, Bloomington, who died Monday (March 25, 1985), will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, the Rev. John Phillips officiating.

Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Saxton was born Nov.

24, 1922, in Normal, a daughter of Luther Earl and Carrie Gerhart Iery E.A. AB' Sickler LUDLOW E.A. "AB" Sickler, 87, of Ludlow died at 4:30 p.m. yesterday (March 26, 1985) at his residence. His funeral will be at 11 a.m.' Friday at the United Methodist Church, Ludlow, the Rev.

Martin Roper officiating. Burial will be in Ludlow Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Brown-Miller Funeral Home, Paxton, and one hour before the service Friay at the church. There will also be Masonic rites at 8 p.m.

Thursday at the funeral home. He was born Nov. 30, 1897, at Jackson County, Illinois, a son of John and Dora Butcher Sickler. He married Rose Bradshaw Nov. 4, 1922, in Jacksonville.

She died Dec. 14, 1981. Surviving are one son, Jerry, Rantoul; two grandsons; three granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Martha Mulligan, Santa Cruz, Calif. He was preceded in death by one son, one daughter and one brother. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Ludlow; Pera Masonic Lodge No.

574 AF AM, Ludlow; the Danville Consistory; Royal Arch Masons; York Rite Commandery; and the Ludlow American Legion Post 518. He was a Marine veteran of World War I. He was a farmer in the Ludlow area for 47 years. Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Groveland Missionary Church, the Rev. G. Robert Magary officiating. Burial will be In Groveland Mennonite Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ludwig-Rohrschneider Mortuary, Morton, and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Birky was born Jan. 19, 1894, in Groveland Township, a daughter of Barnhart and Elizabeth Freid-inger Eisele.

She married William E. Birky on Oct. 10, 1917, in Peoria. He died Dec. 23, 1978.

Survivors include two sons, Robert and Merlin, both of Morton; two daughters, Margaret Cade, 1000 N. School Normal, and Florence Gerig, Gridley; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Four brothers preceded her in death. Mrs. Birky lived all of her life in the Morton area.

She was affiliated with Groveland Missionary Church, to which memorials may be made. Sweeter J. Lubbers DeLAND Sweeter J. "Bud" Lubbers 61, of Sunrise Beach, formerly of rural DeLand, died Saturday (March 23, 1985) at his home. His funeral will be at 11 a.m.

Thursday at DeLand United Methodist Church, the Revs. Kenneth Couch and Raymond Bassett officiating. Burial will be in DeLand Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at Trigg Calvert Funeral Home, DeLand, with Masonic rites at 8:30 p.m. Mr.

Lubbers was born Oct. 12, 1923, in Piatt County, a son of Sweeter J. and Clara Wach Lubbers. He married Helen L. "Jackie" Kirkland March 7, 1942, at Bowling Green.

She survives. Other survivors include a son, Terry Lee, Weldon; two daughters, Mickie Crocker, Morgan, Texas; and Kathy Tanner, St. Joseph, a brother, Frank Lubbers Mon-ticello; two sisters, Katie Stanley, Bement; and Esther Talbert, Decatur; and nine grandchildren. Mr. Lubbers was a retired farmer.

He was a member of the DeLand United Methodist Church, DeLand Masonic Lodge 812, A.F. A.M., Bloomington Consistory and Ansar Shrine, Springfield. Scarbrough was president and major stockholder of Maple Grove Cemetery Association. He was a local livestock dealer, grocery store operator and auctioneer. He also had a livestock trucking business. He formerly worked for the Illinois Central Railroad section gang for nine years. He spent most of his life in Farmer City, receiving his schooling in rural schools.

He graduated in 1939 from Repperts School of Auctioneering in Decatur, Ind. He was a member of Kenilworth Lodge No. 60, Knights of Pythias in Farmpr Citv He attended the Christian Church in Farmer City. Memorials may be made to the church or to Farmer City Public Library. Fred R.

Cropco DWIGHT Fred R. Cropco. 48, of 109 W. Delaware died at 1:58 p.m. Monday (March 25, 1985) at University of Chicago Hospital, Chicago, after a lingering illness.

Donna 1 Mr. Frazier was a Bulck-Pontiac dealer in Rantoul for 44 years until 1978. He operated Frazier Inc. in Rantoul. He was national cnampion in 'hydroplane racing from 193347.

the past 14 years, he served as chairman for U.S. Auto Club at the Indianapolis 500. He was a member of Rantoul Masonic Lodge; Medina Temple, Chicago; the Indianapolis 500 Shrine Club; and served on the Rantoul Park Board. White. She married Ralph V.

Saxton on Feb. 6, 1945, In Phenix City, Ala. He died March 4, 1960. Survivors include two sons, Richard, 403 E. Olive Bloomington, and Ralph, 1103 N.

Hinshaw Bloomington; three brothers, Kenneth White, Taylorville; James White, 144 Willow Creek Village, Bloomington, and Robert W. White, 1121 W. Hovey Normal; a sister, Marilyn Herrin, 85 Mobil-Land Mobile Home Park, Bloomington; and five grandchildren. Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death. Mrs.

Saxton was senior accountant clerk at General Telephone, where she had been employed for 14 years, starting Sept. 14, 1969. She was a member of First Evangelical United Methodist Church, Bloomington; Women of the Moose and the GTE Bowling League, winning the state bowling championship in 1981. Eaton Mary Johnson Eaton, 92, of Springfield' formerly of Bloomington, died at 7:25 a.m. Sunday (March 24, 1985) at Lewis Memorial Christian Village, Springfield. A memorial service will be at 1:15 p.m. today at Lewis Memorial Christian Village Chapel, the Rev. Troy Hart officiating.

2, 1892, at Greenville, a daughter of John Alfred and Bertha Mattson Johnson. She married Orville Eaton, who died in 1943. Johnson, 66, of Sarasota, father of a Bloomington woman, died Monday (March 25, 1985) at his home. His funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Naperville. Burial will be in Oak-ridge Cemetery, Hillside. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m.

A birthday cake and gift will be presented to the American Legion by auxiliary members in honor of the Legion's 66th anniversary. W. Rex Butler SAYBROOK W. Rex Butler, 71, of Pinellas Park, a retired Saybrook postmaster, died yesterday (March 26, 1985) at Humana Hospital North, Pinellas Park. Mr.

Butler was born April 21, 1913, at Saybrook, a son of W.O. and Floy Ellis Butler. He married Ruth Bechtel June 28, 1937, in Eureka. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Terry Peters, Hartford, four brothers, Gene, Douglas, H.

Leon, Hooker, and Robert and Ralph, both of Arrowsmith; a sister, Nina Arbogast, Grand Junction, and a grandchild. A brother preceded him in death. Mr. Butler had been associated with his father and brother in A Hatchery, a family business founded in Saybrook in 1924. Later, he was appointed postmaster.

He moved to Florida six years ago after he retired. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Bloomington Consistory. Shirley Anne Teets DeLAND Shirley Anne Teets, 54, of DeLand died at 6:38 p.m. yesterday (March 26, 1985) at Carl Arbours Nursing Home, Champaign. She was taken to Trigg-Calvert Funeral Home.

BLOOMINGTON NORMAL Lillyus M. Ingram Lillyus Margaret Ingram, 94, of Palm Bay, formerly of Bloomington and Heyworth and a retired music teacher, died March 19, 1985, at the West Melbourne Health Care Center, West Melbourne, Fla. A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Palm Bay United Methodist Church. A graveside service will be scheduled later in Heyworth Cemetery, Heyworth.

Brevard Funeral Home South, Melbourne, had charge of arrangements. Mrs. Ingram was born May 3, 1890, near Heyworth, a daughter of Enoch H. and Sarah Boyd Paswaters. She married Harry Kingsbury Ingram Sept.

8, 1914. He died in 1952. Survivors include a daughter, Dr. Elaine I. Huggins, Palm Bay, two grandsons; and five greatgrandchildren.

A brother preceded her in death. Mrs. Ingram lived in Heyworth until she moved to Bloomington in 1905. She attended Bloomington High School and St. Joseph's Academy and took private vocal and oratory lessons.

At Illinois State Normal University, she majored in music and art and was active in the Wrightonian Society. She later taught music. She was a member of the Palm Bay United Methodist Church, where she was an honorary steward. She was a life member of the Arlington Chapter 39, Order of the Eastern Star, Arlington, Va. While Mrs.

Ingram lived In Bloomington, she was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Memorials may be made to the church. Education Technology lecture Robert Hunt, associate professor of political science at Illinois State University, will discuss "Technology and the Third World" at noon March 28 at the weekly "Eureka" program at the Campus Religious Center, 210 Mulberry Normal. The six-week "Eureka" series is, sponsored by the Associated Campus Ministries and the Wesley Foundation. On April 4 the topic will be technology in the automotive industry; on April 11, Wayne Andrews of the ISU department of industrial technology will discuss selecting appropriate technologies; on April 18, Rick Whitacre, ISU associate professor of agriculture, will discuss technology in agriculture; on April 25, Richard Stivers, ISU professor of sociology, will discuss Jacques Ellul and the technological society.

Lunch is available at the pro-grams for a donation. Alumni reception Andrew Nappi, dean of the Illinois State University College of Business, and other faculty members, will attend the annual Chicago Business College alumni reception from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. March 28 in the Palmer House, downtown Chicago. He Is currently both an independent producer with 20th Century Fox and an executive producer at Lorimar Productions. His topic will be "Dreams Can Come True." today at the funeral home. Mrs. Schultz was born Dec. 15, 1923, in Davenport, Iowa, a daughter of Chester and Hetty Ramsden Hallam. She married Lyle F.

Schultz March 12, 1944, in Normal. He survives. Also surviving are four sons, Lyle T. and Charles both of Gibson City; Frank Melvin; and Hal Long Point; three daughters, Sand- ra Knack, Rutland; Diane Tibbs, Alexandria, and Hetty Jean Schultz, Gibson City; and 13 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Mrs. Schultz had lived in Elliott for a short time, moving to Normal at age 2. She graduated from Normal grade and high schools and attended Illinois Wesleyan University for one year. She lived in the Hudson-Normal area for many years. She had been a Gibson City resident for the past year.

She attended Methodist churches. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church, Gibson City. Margaret R. Ryan STREATOR Margaret R. Ryan, 91, of 208 E.

Kent died at 8:35 a.m. yesterday (March 26, 1985) at St. Mary's Hospital, Streator. Her funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church, Streator.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service Thursday at Solon Funeral Home, Streator. She was born July 6, 1893, in Washington, a daughter of Lawrence and Mary Herbert Ryan. She was preceded death by two orotners and four sisters.

Miss Ryan was employed by the Delaney Heald Chicago, for 46 years. She retired in 1963 and moved back to Streator that year. Chili supper for public EMDEN The Hartem Women Jaycees will sponsor a public chili supper and card party March 30 at Emden Community House. The supper will be served from 6 to 7:30 p.m. with cards following.
