interest in the chain to Humford Developments Mr Morton acquired a 10-per cent interest the next year and became managing director of the group Mr Charest meanwhile opened radio station CKER in Edmonton Under the new system of ownership Mr Morton and Mr Charest each will own 30 per cent of a holding company The holding company will own both the OK Radio Group and CKER Mr Charest will continue as president and manager of CKER while Mr Morton will become president of the OK Radio Group The OK Radio Group owner of Fort McMurray station will be re-sold to its founding owner and general manager if the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) approves the transfer Roger Charest co-owner of the station when it began broadcasting in 1973 and original general manager Stu Morton would assume 100 per cent control of the radio chain if the application is endorsed OK Radio also operates stations in St Paul Westlock and Grand Centre -Humford
