Brooks of 549 E. Union will celebrate their Fifty-Fifth Wedding Anniversary on Wednesday, July 2. Joseph H. Brooks, and Blanche M. Brown were married July 2, 1914 near Waverly.

The father, the late Rev. A. G. Brown officiated for the ceremony held in the home of the bride. The couple have three daughters, Mrs.

Dorothy Hays. Piketon: Mrs. Rosalee Estep, averly Mrs. Idabelle Williams. Chillicothe; a son.

Everett H. Brooks of Circleville. One son, Richard Leroy Brooks, died in infancy. There are 12 grandchildren and 11 great- EnQQQQCl lO grandchildren. Mr.

and Mrs. Brooks moved to Pickaway County in 1939 and attended the Pontious United Methodist Church. They were both employed by the Pickaway County Home. Mrs. Brooks will also celebrate her birthday on Wednesday.
