Augusta Tiede, daughter of Godfried Schipull and his wife, Marie- Weisen was born January 26, 1831 in Germany. She came to this country with her par- ents.tin October,' 1905. . On'July 15, 1906 she was united in marriage .10 John August Tiede. Two children were born to this union, one son, August who' preceded his mother in death in 1932^at the age of 25 and a daughter, Dorothy, who died shortly after birth. In 1946, Mr and Mrs Tiede moved to the hpttie they had purchased in LUVerne and'it was here' in their home that Mi; Tiede .passed away after a,lingering illness in June 1953. ' . On Sunday morning, Oct. 30, she was stricken 1 with her fatal illness and was immediately taken to the Lutheran hospital, Fort Dodge. After > numerous blood transfusions it was ^thought she was on the road to recovery. She suffered a relapse and passed away Tuesday, Nov.' 22, at the age of 54. : '1 ; / She was ajnember.of Ziori Lutheran Church for 50 years. Surviving are five brothers, Karl; Schipull, LuVerne; August Schipull, Burt; Ferdinand and Gustave Schipull, Ringsted and William- Schipull, Lu Verne, many other relatives and friends. Bade From Japan Mr and Mrs August Elbcrts have word that their son RD2 Paul Elberts has arrived in San Francisco. He was flown back from Japan where he had served since August. At Infant's Riles Mr and Mrs Carl Pergande and Helen attended funeral rites in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Hutnboldt for Herman Philip, infant son of thtir sun, Mr and Mrs Herman Pergandu of Humbold 1.
