She was a graduate of Hickory Township High School and the Mn. Charles E. Comman, 11, of IIS Prospect New Wilmington, the former Matilda M. KniM. died at 12:35 p.m.

yesterday in Overlook Medical Clinic Inc. after four years of illness. She was born in McKeesport March 21, 188, to the tote George and Rose Christman Knits. She was married April 1908, to Charles B. Comman.

She was a former resident of Volant RD 3 but has been in New Dorothy Kendall to Medusa Portland Cement Co. Laura M. McPbenon to Laura M. McPherson Rose C. Bruno to Francis A.

The honorees collectively represented J78 years of service in careers that encompassed the "hey-day" of the railroads in this area through two World Wars, the "Depression" and other emergencies.

Dinner was served by a volunteer group of women, mostly wives uf railroaders, followed by an informal program and then more reminiscing. Frank J. Bogart of Pittsburgh, acted as toastmaster for the presentation program with R. D. Rupert, trainmaster, officiating.

A long list of good wishes was liven personally to Use honorees. Women who cooked the dinner were Mrs. James Zarillo. Mrs. T.

C. Rainey, Mrs. Ralph Frengel and Mrs. Tony Colitruglia of St. Marguerite Club who volunteered their services and serving was by Mrs.

William Hunt and Mrs. Clifford Humphrey, who with their husbands, served as co-chairmen. Aids in the dining room were Mrs John Bunneman, Mrs. William Fraley. Mrs.

Frank E. Alborn Frank E. Alborn, 92, of Volant RD 3 died at 1:30 p.m. yesterday in the Jameson Memorial Hospital after a five-week illness. He was born in Lawrence County May 28, 1877, to the late Henry C.

and Caroline Young Alborn. He had been married 68 years on Dec. 25, 1969, to the former Rose E. Weinschenk, who survives him. He was a farmer all of his life.

Mr. Alborn was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife; four sons, Clare S. of Ellwood City, Harold E.

of New Castle, Arthur C. at home and R. Errol of Fontana, Calif; and nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He wasp preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers. Friends will be received at the Robert A.

Eva Hubbard Mrs. Eva Hubbard, 58, of 710 Pearson the former' Eva Pompanio, died at 6:30 a.m. yesterday in a Pittsburgh hospital apparently of a heart attack. She was born in Glassport. March 12.

1911, to the latcOvidio and Vincenza D'Orizio Pompanio. Surviving are a brother, Louis Pompanio of Baltimore; three sisters, Mrs. Frank (Louise) Cangey of Garden Grove, Mrs. Irene Adams of New Castle and Mrs. George (Mary) Gregg of New Castle.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jesse and Nick Pompanio. Friends will be received at the William F. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.

Friends will be received at the E. Gailey Sharp Funeral Home, New Wilmington, from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 3 to 4:30 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.

A service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home by Dr. Victor G. Dawe of Neshannock UP Church and the Rev. Clarence Drake of the Evangel Community Church.

Interment will be in Fair Oaks Cemetery, New Wilmington. A funeral service for Mrs. Josephine Bell, 73, of 1217 Scioto who died at 3 p.m. Sunday in Suburban Manor Nursing Home after an extended illness, will be held Thursday in St. Paul Baptist Church.

616 W. North at p.m. The Rev. Charles Alexander of St. Paul Baptist Church will officiate.

Mrs. Bell was born Aug. 16, 1896 in Denver, Colo. Her. husband, Daniel Bell, died in 1919.

She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church and Golden Rule Chapter 25, Order of Eastern Star. There are no survivors. Friends will be received at the J. G.

State Weslerville, Ohio, was killed in a traffic accident yesterday near Columbus. She was bom in New Cumberland, W. June 2, 1891, lu the late Wesley and Hester Homes Sainer. Miss Sainer is survived by a sister, Mrs. Martha Criss of New Castle, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Nathanial Julius Riley 18, of 18 E. Home who was killed Nov. 7, in a combat operation in South Vietnam, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Paul Baptist Church, G16 W.
