Record Boise weather will be cloudy and mild through Tuesday with a high probability of snow show ers on Wednesday and Saturday the Weather Bureau reported today A few showers were likel today increasing tonight wi moderate rains likely on Tuesday It will be windy at times High temperatures will be 50 to 55 today and in the 40s Tuesday with lows tonight near 40 Precipitation probabilities were 10 per cent today 30 per cent tonight and 70 per cent Tuesday In Southwestern Idaho Tuesday through Saturday it will turn colder by mid-week with temperatures averaging below normal Occasional periods of snow will begin in mid-week with high probabilities on Wednesday and Saturday Boise's normal high and low for this period are 40 and 25 A low pressure area was moving In the valley causing cloudiness and expected to produce precipitation by tonight and Tuesday the forecaster said Boise had a high of 55 Sunday and a low of 40 this morning The high was 58 at Emmett and the low was 11 near swept the Dwyer Lumber and Plywood Division Saturday Arthur Rickered assistant manager said half of the loss was in buildings and equipment in the three-block area while the other half was in one million board feet of finished lumber Rickerd said cleanup operations will begin today at the plant located southeast Portland The fourteen men who normally work in the charred area will be reassigned with representatives of the congressional delegation Death of Utahn Boosts Fatalities To 279 for Idaho SHELLEY (AP) Andrew Griffiths 75 of Clarkston Utah died in an Idaho Falls hospital Sunday of injuries suffered in a car-pedestrian accident at a Shelley intersection on Nov 10 His wife Lydia was killed in the accident It was reported at that time that the couple was returning to the home of their son after attending church services when their car and one driven by Kristine Young 17 of Shelley collided at the intersection of Milton and Locust streets His death raised traffic toll for this year to 279 compared to 266 by this date last year and 258 by this time in 1966 Tractor Rolls Kills Driver Outside Bliss BUSS (UPI) A farm hand Foster Wanamaker 63 Bliss was killed Friday when the Catapiller tractor he was operating overturned pinning him to the ground the Gooding County sheriffs office said Sunday Wanamaker was working on the Carl Anderson Ranch north of Bliss According to the hi Saturday afternoon by his two sisters officials reported Sunday Dave Fell 18 was found lying face down in his bed while his parents Mr and Mrs Thomas Fell were attending a funeral in Jerome Minidoka County coroner Robert Walk said the cause of death was not immediately determined Fell was pronounced dead at the scene about 10 miles northwest of Rupert by Dr Crawford Rupert who said he
