There was plenty of food for everyone and a count showed that 7,500 pancakes, 125 gallons of coffee, 4,800 link sausages and 800 half-pint cartons of milk were served in a 3-hour period. The affair was held in the Anderson Window Building, where picnic tables from the parks were set up by committees of merchants and farmers. The Galva Fire Department had several members of the company present with one truck in case of emergency. The Town-Country Day was held last year in the new building of the E. W.
