The store, which owner le Rhodes said will have a grand opening in August, sells retail and wholesale elec trical supplies. In the retail section of the store are light fixtures, decorative and utility lamps used to call them light bulbs), and supplies for the home handyman and farm.

The wholesale section sells supplies to electrical contractors for residential, commercial and indastrial use. Rhodes, a registered professional engineer, has worked as an engineer at several companies in Bloomington-Nor-mal. The new store is a result of wanting "to go into business for myself," he said. Energy Equipment will employ eight persons. Both sections will occupy 8,500 square feet.

Five cars robbed in Bloomington Five separate thefts from cars were reported to Bloomington police Friday. Ray Busick, 622' 2 E. Mulberry, reported a radio tape player, valued at $130, was taken from his car, parked at his residence Thursday afternoon. The thief broke a vent window to gain entry. A citizens ban radio, valued at $99.95, was taken from the car of James Seabourne, 1302 N.

Livingston, Thursday night. The car was parked in the lot at Oakland Bowl, 502 Eldorado Road. William Hall, R.R. 1. Downs, told police tools valued at $75, were taken from his car, parked at the Alibi Lounge, 907 E.

Oakland early Friday. Kevin Mallehan, 707 Arcadia Drive, Apt. 1, told police a tape player, valued at $100, was stolen from his car, parked Frjday afternoon in the State Farm parking lot, 1 State Farm Plaza. A second theft at the State Farm lot was reported by Dan Rood, R.R. 1, Carlock.
