Howard died at 6:20 a.m. Friday at St. James Hospital after suffering a heart attack. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Grace Episcopal Church, the Rev.

Harris Funeral Home. He was born Feb. 22, 1893, at Youngs-town, Ohio. He married Clara Hanson Harris Feb. 22, 1944, at Pontiac.

Surviving are his wife; two stepsons, William Harris, Chicago, and Robert Harris, Pontiac; 13 grandchildren. Two brothers preceded him in death. For more than 30 years he was employed at the Pontiac Greenhouse. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and had served on the vestry. He was a member of the Pontiac Masonic Lodge, the Vermillionaires and was a World War I veteran.

He married Adelle Henninger April 16, 1939, in Chicago. Surviving are his wife; one son, Ronald, Dallas, three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs.

Grace Vitale and Mrs. Jannie Kreager, both of Phoenix, a brother, Sam Sineni, Morton. Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death. He was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a salesman with Electrolux Corp.

20 years and for R.L. Polk and publishers of city directories, three years. For the past five years he worked at Caterpillar Tractor Co, Mrs. Lena Funk GRIDLEY (PNS)-Mrs. Lena Funk, 92, Gridley, died at 11:10 p.m.

Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Barbara Meiss, rural Heyworth, with whom she had resided three years. Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Apostolic Christian Church, Gridley, with church ministers officiating. Burial will be in Gridley Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Froelich Memorial Home, Grid-ley, and an hour before services Sunday at the church. She was born Jan. 30, 1883, at Gridley, a daughter of Adolph and Barbara Gramm Rudin. She married Benjamin Funk Jan.

Thursday at the Livingston County Nursing Home after an extended illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Raleigh J. Harris Funeral Home, the Rev. Stanley Murdoch officiating.

Burial will be in South Side Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. She was born Nov. 15, 1906, in Minnesota, a daugher of Joseph and Etta Brimmerman.

She attended Pontiac schools. She married Joseph G. Arthur March 25, 1942, at St. Charles, Mo. Surviving are her husband; a son, Joseph Manito; a brother, Gail, Joliet; one granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, a charter member of the VFW Auxiliary, past president and past district president of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was also a member of the White Shrine. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church. Miss Hulda Bill Friday at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Dansville.

He was taken to the Herington-Calvert Funeral Home. He was born in DeWitt County Oct. 19, 1931, the son of Louis and Mildred Preston Fields. He is survived by his mother of Waynesville; three brothers, Melvin of Chicago; Earl and Merle, both Waynesville; and five sisters, Mary Fields of Mount Pulaski; Dorotha, Nellie, Sarah and Verna Fields, all of Waynesville. He was a member of the Christian Church and American Legion Post 1189 in Waynesville.

Four sisters preceded him in death. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Treadway, and the Bloomington MoOse Lodge. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen. Surviving are five sons, Jerry, Chillicothe Barth and Dr. Frank David, both of Phoenix, James, Springfield; Prof. John, Durham, N.C.; a sister, Bernice, Oglesby; two stepbrothers, Sam Westart, Princeville; Bart Weistart, Minonk; 12 grandchildren. Mr. Weistart, mayor and alderman of Minonk for 25 years, was a director of the board of Depue State Bank, Depue.

Prior to his retirement in 1973 he was a representative for the United Steel Workers of America. She was married to Ivan Campbell June 25, 1925, in Bloomington. Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Rose Mary Bradbury, Brooklyn Park, and Mrs. Joann Presley, Mahomet; a son, Roger Round Lake Beach; 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers.

Mrs. Campbell was a member of St. Mary's Church and St. Ann's Society. Mrs.

Pearl Werner Mrs. Pearl Werner, 77, a Phoenix, resident for several years and formerly of the Bloomington-Normal area, died Oct. 22 in Phoenix, according to word received here Friday. She had been ill two years. Her funeral and burial were in Phoenix.

Mrs. Werner was a 1920 graduate of Brokaw Hospital School of Nursing and worked at the hospital for many years. She was bom Aug. 2, 1898, near Weldon, a daughter of James R. and Nancy Swearingen.
