North on Route U.S. 150 — Telephone 309: 343-9148 I AGm -iauii-PER~| Outlook For Market Not Good: Firm NEW YORK (UPI) - The recent announcement by the Nixon administration of a relaxation of corporate dividend payments "coincided with the news of continued strong inflation with the cost of living up at a 7.2 per cent level, the boost in the prime rate to 7% per cent, and continued weak- nessi of the dollar," according to Harris, Upham & Co. Until these and political problems are resolved, the firm says, "The market will remain basically in an unsettled state A rally from this level, however, is Indicated." Negative factors have been overemphasized recently and have, by and large, been discounted by today's stock prices, according to Moody's Investors Service. But the firm says stock prices will really rise "until confidence becomes a more prominent attribute of the investment community." "Traditionally, the period between now and several days after July 4 is favorable for the bulls," according to Merkin & Co. Despite this, however, the firm says "There is no change in the basic downward direction of the list, and further weakness may be encountered during mid-July." The firm recommends accumulating cash during this time. READ THE WANT ADS! J-J-PAINTERS FREE Estimates, References. Ph.
