Marschall, 67, passed away March 17, 2021, peacefully at his home sur- rounded by his family, after a long battle with COPD. He was born on June 22, 1953 in Fond du Lac, the son of Ervin and Phyllis Kumber Marschall. Bob graduated from L.P. Goodrich High School in 1971 and on October 26, 1974, he was united in marriage to Joan M. Sonnentag at St.

Louis Cath- olic Church. Bob was employed at Mercury Marine for 43 years before retiring in 2017. Over the years he found most enjoyment participating in outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, camping, golf, softball as well as playing pool. Lovingly known by all of his grandchildren as Bob valued his family over all else. Survivors include his wife, Joan; one son Scott (Christy) of three daughters, Sara (Ryan)Waldschmidt of Waupun, Tracy Marschall of Fond du Lac, and Erin (Matt) Zedler of Lomira; seven grandchildren Kylie and Cassidy Marschall, Shauna and Auna Frost, Aiden, Mia and Bodhi Zedler; three brothers Richard Kohlman, Ervin Marschall Jeff (Lori) Marschall; two sisters Linda (Dave)Manthei, andNancy Fields; brother and sister-in-laws Lynn (Robert) Bindert, John (Pat) Sonnentag, Gary (Carol) (Sue) Sonnentag, Paul Sonnentag nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his father and mother-in-law Vernon and Ruth Sonnentag; brother-in-laws Terry Fields andDanielWagner and sister-in-law Marlene Marschall. SERVICES: Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 10:00 12:45 PM at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division Street, Fond du Lac. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.Masks are required and social distancing maintained. Entombment will be at the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum following cremation.

Memorials in name are appreciated and may be directed to the Agnesian Hospice Program. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Nicole, Larry and all the Hospice nurses who were full of compassion and support.
