Eagle Grove climaxed the loop season with a 5-5 record to take fourth place. The Lion's culminated the regular season with a 7-9 record while Ihe Eagles finished with a 6-10 mark. Clear'Lake clinched the win with a good second half to pull away from a 32-30 halftime lead. Eagle Grove knotted the count at 6-6 early in the game but the Lions moved to a 17-13 firsl quarter lead and the two- point margin at the half. The win left (he Mohawks with' a 5-3 record in the loop and for all games in regular season play. The loss dropped the Dodgers to fourth in the Big Six with a 3-5 mark. In a previous game this season, Mason City needed a late bucket to nip Fort Dodge 64-62 after the winners had blown ani lead. The way out was easier Friday after a close game through the first three quarters. COACH BILL STENEKER'S club racked up 13 straight points in the first four minutes of the fourth stanza while the Dodgers went scoreless.
