E. at Bloomington-Normal Deaths Mrs. John Bagosy, 1301 Pinehurst Drive; one brother, Aaron Higgs, 204 E. Ash, Normal; three sisters, Mrs. Earl Rutledge, Stanford; Mrs.

Elmer Keith, E. Ash, Normal; Mrs. Wesley Wood, Hudson, 19 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. One son, one sister and two brothers preceded her in death. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Normal and Normal Rebekah Lodge.

Mrs. Marietta Kewley Mrs. Marietta Georgia Schofield Kewley, 96, died at 6:08 p.m. Sunday at 511 E. Olive, where she resided with her daughter, Mrs.

Silas Quick. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Metzler Memorial Home, with the Rev. H. Corson 'Brian officiating.

Burial will be in Pennell Cemetery near Towanda. Friends may call at the funeral home. Mrs. Kewley was born Dec. in Marietta, a daughter of John and Mary Sallee Schofield.

She was married to Thomas Kewley Aug. 12, 1903. They resided on a farm northwest of Chatsworth 35 years before moving to Chatsworth. Mr. Kewley died Sept.

20, 1938. As an infant Mrs. Kewley moved with her parents to DuPage County and in 1874 moved to Normal, where she lived until her marriage. Her early acquaintance with persons prominent in the history of both Normal and Illinois State University was the basis of an article she authored during the recent Normal centennial observance. She was graduated from Normal Community High School and attended Illinois State University.

She taught several years in McLean County rura! schools. Survivors include the daughter, Mrs. Quick; a son, Loren, of Streator, nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. A son, two sisters and a brother preceded her in death. She was a member of the Methodist Church at Chatsworth and the Normal Community High School Alumni Association.

Mrs. Viola Herrin Mrs. Viola Herrin, 57, a former resident of Bloomington, died Saturday in Bloomington, Calif. Her funeral will be Wednesday, with burial in Green Acres Cemetery in Bloomington, Calif. Mrs.

Herrin was born May 1908, a daughter of Charles and Minnie Rexroat. She married William Everett Herrin May 30, 1923, in Bloomington, Ill. Surviving are her husband; two sons, William 608 W. Monroe; Donald, Bloomington, three daughters, Mrs. Barbara Brandt, 2013 E.

Taylor; Mrs. June Ost, R.R. Mrs. Betty Branda, Fontana, two brothers, Earl Rexroat, Vallejo, Roy Rexroat, 1314 W. Taylor; five sisters, Mrs.

Roy Breadsley, Vallejo, Mrs. Fred Ellis, Winnetka; Mrs. Ed Otto, Farmer City; Mrs. Ray Harges, Simpson; Mrs. Stephen Handley, 204 W.

Kelsey; 20 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A brother and a sister preceded her in death. William F. Peplow William F. Peplow, 84, a retired farmer of R.R.

3, died at 5:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital after an illness of about three weeks. His funeral will be p.m. Wednesday at the FlinspachKurth Memorial Home, with the Rev.

Ernest L. Gerike officiating. Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the memorial home after 4 p.m. Tuesday.

He was born July 9, 1881, in Bloomington, a son of August and Amelia Schalk Peplow. He married Lola May Hahn in Springfield. Survivors include one stepdaughter, Mrs. Ruth Lutz, R.R. two sisters, Mrs.

Anna Johnson, 1215 E. Oakland; Miss Clara Peplow, R.R. a brother, Carl, R.R. one grandchild. His wife preceded him in death.

Mr. Peplow was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Peter C. McGraw Peter C. McGraw, 82, died at 11:20 a.m.

Monday at the Farmer City Nursing Home. Mr. McGraw, who made his home most recently at 1201 W. Market, had been a patient at Maple Grove Nursing Home, then was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital and was only last Friday.

His funeral will be at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Flynn Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church. Burial will be in St.

Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday. Mr. McGraw was born March 29, 1883, in Carlock, a son of John and Elizabeth Higgins McGraw.

31, 1966. 19 Central Illinois Deaths Elizabeth Bolyard PEKIN (PNS) Mrs. Elizabeth Bolyard, 77, 1516 Henry, died at 11:30 p.m. Saturday at Pekin Memorial Hospital. She had been admitted to the hospital earlier that day and had been ill for sometime.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Berry and Hohlt Funeral Home at Vandalia. Burial will be in the Old Vandalia Cemetery, Visitation will begin at 6 o'clock tonight at the Preston Funeral Home in Pekin. John A. Repp ROBERTS (PNS) John A.

Repp, 70, died about 7 a.m. Sunday at the Henry Garrelts home at Roberts. He was under a doctor's care for a heart condition. His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St.

Paul's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. William Granger officiating. Burial will be in Lyman Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Wagner Davis American Legion Post. Carl A.

Miller CARLOCK (PNS) Carl A. Miller, 80, died at 7:45 a.m. Sunday at Mennonite Hospital in Bloomington. He had been admitted 10 hours earlier. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m.

Tuesday at the Otto and Argo Funeral Home. The Rev. Joseph Atherton is to officiate. Burial will be in Stouts Grove Cemetery at Danvers. Visitation will begin at 7 o'clock tonight at the funeral home.

Douglas Nix MINONK (PNS) Douglas Nix, died at 6:45 a.m. Sunday at LaRabida Hospital in Chicago, where he had been a patient for 11 months. Private funeral services will be held at the Wilcox-Folkers Memorial Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev.

Raymond Bassett is to officiate. Burial will be in Minonk Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Wayne C.

Bingham BELLFLOWER (PNS)- Wayne C. Bingham, 67, a farmer and life-long resident of Bellflower, died at 5 p.m. Sunday at his home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Methodist Church.

The Rev. Daniel Sullivan is to officiate. Masonic Rites will be accorded by the Bellflower Masonic Lodge at Fleeing Youth Fined $20 A 19 year old Bloomington youth who ran from city police Thursday was fined $20 in Magistrate Court Monday. Terry Lee Detherage of 603 N. Mason was fined for disorderly conduct.

Detherage was one of two youths who ran when officers tried to question them in the 200 block of West Mulberry Street. "A foot chase followed, and Detherage came to a halt when Patrolman Eugene Irvin fired a in the air to summon help. The second youth was never caught, and police said Detherage would not identify his companion. Two Adult Courses To Start While most adult education classes got under way last week, two are scheduled for initial meetings tonight. They are Oriental brush painting meeting at 7:30 p.m., and beginning sewing at 7 p.m.

Both classes meet at Bloomington High School and are open to further enrollment. They complete the slate of second semester offerings in adult education, with the exception of three classes which will not begin until March: Daytime cooking school, daytime painting and sketching and Nature's Wonderland. 17:30 p.m. Tuesday at Stensel Funeral Home in Bellflower. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m.

Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bellflower Township Cemetery. Mrs. Ora Graham ARMINGTON (PNS) Mrs. Ora Graham, 86, died at her home Sunday.

She was taken to the Quiram Funeral Home at Atlanta, where arrangements are incomplete. bed G. Scott Lyle G. Scott Lyle Glenn Scott, 57, of 306 Seville Road, died of a heart attack at 7:50 a.m. Sunday at his home.

His death followed by three days that of his brother, Homer 67, in California. His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Luke's United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Joseph C.

An avid sports fan, Mr. Scott was a graduate of Cooksville High School and had played basketball in the old Industrial League. He was a member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ, where he has been Sunday School superintendent 28 years; Blooming Grove Camp of Modern Woodmen of America; Wade Barney Masonic Lodge; Bloomington Consistory, and Local 1000, International Association of Machinists. The family has suggested that any expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to the building fund of St.

Luke's United Church of Christ. Robert A. Gardiner Robert A. Gardiner of Naperville, a former Bloomington resident, died of an apparent heart attack Saturday evening as arrived at McCormick Place Chicago to attend a SPEBSQSA (Barbershop) program. His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m.

Dwyer, 79, died at 9:25 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Bloomington. He had been ill for three years. Funeral services will be at 9:15 a.m.

Wednesday at the Carmody Funeral Home in Bloomington and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church at Lexington. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery at Merna. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m.

Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Dwyer was born Feb. 4, 1886, at Padua, a son of Thomas and Elizabeth Farrel Dwyer. He married Mary Kerber in 1908 at Merna.

She died June 26, 1965. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Cecelia O'Rourke, Downs; one son, Edward, Lexington; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Killian, 206 W. Walnut, Bloomington; Mrs.

Nellie Killian, Lexington; and Mrs. Anna Killian, Streator; one brother, John, Towanda; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son and a brother. Mr. Dwyer was a member of St.

Mary's Church in Lexington. Utilities Tax Nets $70,158 In Six Months Normal has netted $70,158 in six months from its new 5 per cent utilities tax, City Clerk Clifford Benson said Monday. Receipts for the second quarter collection--October through December -totaled $40,463. The first quarter, July, August and September, had produced 695. Normal officials had estimated that the new tax, passed along to consumers by utility firms, would bring in about $140,000 a year.

Second quarter receipts included these payments: Illinois Power Northern Illinois Gas General Telephone and Normal's Water Department, $3,673. The latter payment represents money siphoned off water receipts without any increase in cost to water users. KEY FITS WRONG CAR; MYSTERY CLEARED The same model of cars, the same color and the same ignition keys caused considerable worry for a Bloomington woman Saturday night and Sunday morning. Mrs. Barbara Sue Bean reported her car stolen from in front of her home at 101 S. McLean Saturday. Glen Miles, operator of a repair shop at 206 W.

Grove, informed police Sunday that he had Mrs. Bean's automobile. Mr. Miles explained that he was given a key to pick up a car similar to Mrs. Bean's and he thought he had the right vehicle because the key fit the ignition in Mrs.

Bean's car. After reading Mrs. Bean's stolen car report in the Pantagraph, Mr. Miles related, he realized that the car he wanted was parked nearby..
