Elmer Mix of Weldon; and Miss Patricia S. Malone, of 1007 N. Evans, Bloomington, daughter truck driven by Ernest B. Ilancock of Perrysville. Ind.

William Hicks LEXINGTON (PNS) William Hicks, 95, died at the Odd Fellows Home at Mattoon Wednesday. He will be brought to the Musselman Funeral Home. Elbert O. Williams CLINTON (PNS) Elbert Oberton 1 Williams, 75, formerly of Clinton, died Tuesday at the Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney. His funeral will be at 1:30 p.m.

Friday at the Pullen-Boos Funeral Chapel in Clinton. The Rev. Winston Zastrow will officiate and burial will be in the Lisenby Cemetery near Weldon. He was born Oct. 29, 1890 in Wayne County, a son of Thomas and Martha Oberton Williams.

Surviving are his wife, Edith; seven sons, Eldon, Clay City; William, Savannah, Thomas, 806 S. Cottage, Normal; Richard, with the U.S. Army at Camp Carson, Charles, Dewitt: Don, Columbus, Ohio: and Wilbur, Chicago; two daughters, Alice Doss, Clinton; and Mrs. Gene Troxel, Decatur; three sisters, Mrs. Nellie Enlow of Jeff, Mrs.

Leo Daubs, Calhoun, and Mrs. Helen Wells, Clay City; 19 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. He was a member of the Shiloh Methodist Church, and the Weldon Masonic Lodge. Mrs. Anna Six PAXTON (PNS)-Mrs.

Anna Six, 75, of 458 E. Patton died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Warren Hileman, at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday. She had been ill for several years.

Mr. Landis, a veteran of World War II, died of injuries he received Sunday when he was hit by a truck in Upland, Calif. Mrs. Louise Sherman PEKIN (PNS) Mrs. Louise Sherman, 87, died at 6 p.m.

Wednesday at the Tazewell County Nursing Home. She had been ill several years. Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Abts Mortuary, with the Rev. Kurt J.

Schmiechen officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 7 o'clock tonight at the mortuary. Miss Martha Sheaffer PIPER CITY (PNS) Miss Martha Sheaffer died at Billings Memorial Home in Billings, Okla. She had been a patient there two years.

Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Reilly Funeral Home in Piper City, with the Rev. W. R. Hampton officiating.

Burial will be in Brenton Cemetery. Mrs. Isa Jackson RUTLAND (PNS) -Mrs. Isa Elizabeth Jackson, 70, died at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday at St.

Mary's Hospital in Streator. She has been a patient five days and ill years. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Thierry Funeral Home in Wenona, with the Rev. Ernest Gluck officiating.

Wednesday at Peoria Methodist Hospital. He was admitted to the hospital at 5 p.m. Tuesday. He had been ill for sometime. His funeral will be at 10 a.m.

Charges of illegal possession burglary tools against DougTurngate, 32, of Taylorville, and Rose Garland, 24, of Louisville, were referred the grand jury Wednesday Magistrate William T. Caisley. Force Ruled Out On Rhodesia LAGOS, Nigeria (AP) The British Commonwealth's emergency conference decided Wednesday not to use military force against the breakaway white supremacist regime in Rhodesia. But a final communique said this did not mean force would never be used if necessary in the interest of law and order. The meeting of 20 Commonwealth national leaders, including Britain's Prime Minister Harold Wilson, instead set up a committee to decide if economic sanctions against Rhodesia are effective and to provide help for isolated Zambia. German Hospital Ship to Viet Nam BONN (UPI) The West German cabinet decided Wednesday to send a Red Cross hospital ship to South Viet Nam as soon as possible.

Other humanitarian measures will follow, State Secretary Karl-Guenther von Hase told a news conference. Cecil L. Folks 20, of 712 E. Grove was charged with driving with a suspended driver's license after he was involved in an accident at 3:30 p.in. Wednesday at the corner of East and Emerson.

Mrs. Rachel R. Holmes, 53, of 1606 S. Roosevelt was traveling west on Emerson preparing to turn south onto East when her car collided with the Folks vehicle which was headed north on East. Mrs.

Holmes told police that she was unable to stop when she came to the intersection because of the wet pavement. Damage from the collision was estimated at $200 Folks vehicle and $25 for the Holmes car. Neither driver was injured in the mishap. Mr. Folks posted 10 per cent of a $500 bond to appear in court Jan.

John and baby boy, Lincoln EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (AP)Former Alton mayor Leo J. Struif was killed Wednesday in a traffic accident on Illinois 143 and Wanda four miles west of Edwardsville. He was 71. Struif, who served longer than any other Alton mayor, was first elected in the late 1930s, again in the early 1940s and a third time in 1953.
