Or drive to Happy Camp on the upper Klamath River for fresh- run steelhead, or, if those areas are too far away, try the Sacramento River in the Redding, Red Bluff region. If you haven't the time to travel that far for a shot at salmon, how about the Muir Beach area of our part of the Pacific?
