The Bradenton Herald Thursday July 21 1988 Da3 Manatee National-Venice for Senior title Braves nip Pirates 3-2 WILLIE HIATT Herald Sports Writer GULF COAST LEAGUE SOUTHERN OMSK PcLGB Herald staff report For Manatee American Danny Dillingham Justin Crestani and Reggie Green each had two hits Darren Tomey gave up 10 hits in taking the loss Venice rolls 10-2 Behind a five-run second inning and a nine-hit attack Venice battered Manatee National 10-2 Wednesday night in the championship game of the District 16 Junior League Tournament at Venice's Wellfield Complex But since it was Manatee's first loss in the double-elimination tournament the two teams will battle again today at 6:30 pm for tfye district title The winner moves on to the four-team Section IV Tournament next week at GT Bray Complex!
