'Granddaughter of Dixonites We'd THE FORMER JANET Janet Richardson Bride of Lt. E. P. Andrews at Florida Base Of interest to Dixonites is the wedding of Miss Janet Richardson, daughter of Maj. Gen.

and Mrs. William L. Richardson, and Second Lieutenant Edward Porcher Andrews, that took place June 20, at St. Patrick Air Force Base, Fla. Miss Richardson is the granddaughter of Mr.and Mrs.

A. N. Richardson, Dixon, and her father. Maj. Gen.

Richardson, is formerly of this city. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis S. Andrews, Cocoa, Fla.

The candlelight ceremony performed at 5:30 p. m. in the chapel of the Air Force base by Rev. Harold F. Bache, ville, formerly the rector of St.

Mark's church, Cocoa. The bride was given in mar riage by her father, who is the Commanding General of the Air Force Missile Test Center, rick AFB. Her gown of tulle was fashioned with a basque top, with an off-the-shoulder neckline edged with Peau-de-Ange lace. Wide panels of lace down the center front and back extended the length of the full, floor-length skirt, accentuating tiers ol accordion pleated tulle. Covered buttons finished the back.

The bride's fingertip veil of French illusion was held in place by a cloche of embroidered illusion. Her bouquet was a ballerina nosegay of stephanotis and phalaenop- While Formal Gowns The bridegroom's sister. Miss Myitis Norris Andrews, served as maid of honor, and bridesmaids were the Misses Betty Sheffield and Anne Bache. The three attendants wore identical short formal gowns of white nylon net, with fichus of net covering the strapless decolletage. Tiers of tiny ruffles extended down the full skirts to the hemline.

Second Lieutenant Robert M. MacDonald played nuptial music on the organ. The bride's mother chose a short formal gown of seagreen embroid ered taffeta. Appliqued petals of matching taffeta sprinkled with rhinestones adorned the bodice. She wore a white cymbidium corsage.

A pink lace gown fashioned with a round neckline edged with sequins was worn by Mrs. Lewis S. Andrews, mother, of the bridegroom. Her corsage was of pink cymbidiums. TJie altar was flanked with two large vases filled with white stock and pink gladioli, and smilax festooned the chancel rail.

Single candles and sprays of smilax and floral nosegays were placed at the ends of the pews. The Chapel was decorated througtihout with pink and white blooms. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the bride and her husband walked down the aisle under an arch of sabers held Dy tne ushers. Andrews will return to Florida for a short stay before leaving for Fort Bliss, Texas, where the lieutenant will report for duty with the U. S. army early August. The former Miss Richard who first attended William and Mary College in Williamsburg. and later attended the Uni versity of Florida, from which she received the degree of Bachelor of Applied Arts in 1952, is a bcr of Kappa Alpha Theta and of Gamma Alpha Chi, an honorary advertising sorority at the University of Florida.

Lieutenant Andrews attended Bolles School in Jacksonville, P'la. prior to entering the U. S. Military Academy, West Point, from which he was graduated June 2, 1952. DR.

Ihe lovely bride was gowned in French chantuly lace designed with a nylon tulle yoke outlined with a double scallop of matching which oxtoiuk'd into a shape on the basque bodice. Serves in Korea "Dick" who recently returned from Korea, where he spent 14 months with the U. S. Arm; graduated from Walnut high school and attended St. Ambrose college. He is associated with his father in the Dienslake Ford Mo tor Walnut.

Her matching headpiece was trimmed with seed pearls and she carried a colonial bouquet of varcgated pink and white carna- Ambrose Reuter, Dixon, served as best man and ushering were: Stanley Sofolo and George Heintz-elman, Dixon. The bride's mother wore white accessories with her blue and white sheer dress. The bridegroom's mother wore a black dress with white accessories.

Their flowers were varegated pink and white carnation corsages. Reception at Home Following the ceremony a reception was held in the home of the bridegroom, Dixon. Decorations were pink and white streamers, white paper bells and pink and white roses. Mrs. Lawrence Lenox, sister of 'the bride, cut the three 'tiered cake; Mrs.
