his OBITUARIES Saul Wallen, at 59, Urban Coalition Chief New York--Services were to be held today for Saul Wallen, 59, a labor arbitrator and president of the New York Urban Coalition. He died Monday at home after a brief illness. Wallen, who lived at 2 Fifth had headed the Urban Coalition since it was formed in January, 1968. The organization is a private agency that concerns itself with problems of urban minority groups. It sponsors programs for housing, education, employment and economic development.

Wallen was also a member of a panel which created the New York City Office of Collective Bargaining. He was the founder and president of the National Academy of Arbitrators, an arbitrator for a number of corporations and unions, including the General Tire and Rubber Co. and the United Rubber Workers, and a member of several presidential fact-finding boards. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Krischner; two daughters, Joan and Barbara, and a son, James. Services were to be held at 3 PM today at Riverside Memorial Chapel, 76th Street and Amsterdam Avenue, New York.

Burial will be tomorrow at Abel's Hill Cemetery in Martha's Vineyard, Mass. Libbie H. Hyman, Zoologist New York (AP) ---Libbie H. Hyman, 80, one of the nation's foremost authorities on invertebrate zoology, died Sunday in her home here. Although she suffered from Parkin- Russell Stamm Chicago (UPI) -Services were held yesterday for Russell A.

Stamm, 53, the syndicated cartoonist who created the "Scarlett O'Neill" and "Stainless Steel" comic strips, who died Saturday at the home of a friend. Stamm began creating cartoons while he was a high school student in Chicago. He worked as an assistant to cartoonist Stanley Link, who drew the strip "Tiny and to Chester Gould, who draws "Dick Tracy," before launching the "Scarlett O'Neill" strip in 1940 in the old Chicago Times. In 1948 he renamed his strip "Stainless Steel" after one of its characters. The comic strip was syndicated until 1955.

In 1955, Stamm established his own production company that made award winning animated commercials for television. He is survived by his wife and two sons. Visiting 2-5 and 7-10 PM. son's disease for more than 10 years, Dr. Hyman continued her work until about a year ago. Dr. Hyman's classic research in the field of zoology was contained in a massive treatise entitled "The Invertebrates," which was begun in 1931.

The sixth volume was published last September. Other scientists will complete the work, which will be the most comprehensive of its kind available in English. Born in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1888, Dr. Hyman graduated from the University of Chicago in 1910. She received her doctorate there in 1915.

served as research assistant to Dr. Charles Manning Child, a leading biologist of the day, from 1915 to 1931. Dr. Hyman was president of the Society of Systematic Zoology in 1959. She edited its journal, "Systematic Zoology," from 1959 to 1963.

She also was a member of several other professional societies. Dr. Hyman was awarded last April the Gold Medal for Distinguished Achievement in Science by the American Museum of Natural History where she had worked since 1937. The honor was bestowed on the occasion of the museum's centennial celebration. She is survived by a brother, Arthur Hyman of San Diego, Calif.

He died Monday in Miami Beach, Fla. For most of his life Asimov was a resident of Brooklyn, where he operated a candy store for more than 25 years. He retired in 1953, and later moved to Miami Beach. He was a member of the Odd Fellows society.

He is survived by his wife, Anna; a daughter, Mrs. Marcia Repanes of Maspeth, Queens; and his sons. Isaac Asimov, who resides in West Newton, has published more than 100 science and science-fiction books and is a professor at Boston University. Stanley Asimov, of Roslyn Heights, for the past two and a half years assistant managing editor, was recently appointed assistant to the publisher of Newsday. Also surviving are seven grandchildren.

Services were to be at Nassau North Chapel in Great Neck, with burial to follow in Mount Golda Cemetery, Huntington. Thomas H. Ormsbee, at 78 Beacon, N.Y. (AP)-Services were to be held today for Thomas Hamilton Ormsbee, an authority on American antiques, who died Monday at Castle Point Veterans Hospital after a long illness. Ormsbee, 78, was the author of a dozen books on antiques, including "Field Guide to Early American Furniture," and "Care and Repair of American Antiques." He wrote a syndicated newspaper column, "Know Your Heirlooms," and contributed a column on antiques to House and Garden magazine.

Until his illness, he lived for 30 years James McEnaney, 62, Boston Reporter Boston (UPI)-Funeral services for newspaperman James F. McEnaney were to be held today in the Charlestown section. McEnaney, 62, died during the weekend. Known as "the round man" to other reporters, McEnaney teamed with James F. (Big Jim) Delaney to cover crime stories in New England in the late 1920s and the 1930s for the old Boston Evening American.

Louis Milone, County Employe Oceanside--A Mass of the Resurrection will be offered tomorrow for Louis Milone, 90, a retired Nassau County employe, who died Monday after a brief illness. Milone, of 2378 Washington was born in Italy, and came to this country in 1896. He lived in Rockville Centre for about 70 years before moving to Oceanside.

In Rockville Centre he was a member of the Republican Club. Milone is survived by two daughters, Caroline Spadanuta and Mary Josephine Rugolo; four sons, Dominick, Wesley, Anthony and Michael; 14 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. The mass will be offered at 10 AM at St. Agnes Cathedral, Rockville Centre. Burial will be at St.
