June 26 1998 at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx He was 79 He was born June 8 1919 in Harrison to Antonio and Angelina Renna Marchione Mr Marchione attended Harrison schools On June 10 1945 he married Rose Roberto at Holy Name Church in New Rochelle Mr Marchione owned Carl Marchione Landscaping in Harri was a volunteer firelighter in Harrison tor 50 years He was a member of the Westchester Landscaping Association Mr Marchione is survived by a brother Antonio of Boca Raton Fla His wito died in 1996 Visitation will be tomorrow and Tuesday at the Harrison Funeral Home The Amend Mass will be at 10 am Wednesday at St Gregory the Great Church Burial will follow in St Cemetery in Rye Brook He is survived by three daughters Mary-Carol Miller of Scars- 1 Halp Nancy Bennett of Chobham Surrey England and Joan Diament of South Orleans a sister Isabel Bates of Doylestown Pa' i six grandsons one granddaugh- ter and two great-grandchildren The fomily will have a memorial service at a later Conn in 1971 and lived there for 22 years before moving to South Orleans He was a lifelong student of history and the US economy his family said A memorial service will be scheduled later for Jerome Towe a longtime employee and a former Scarsdale resident who died Sunday June 21 1998 at his home in South Orleans Mass after a brief ill- ness He was 94 He was born Feb 12 1904 in Passaic NJ to Walter and Isabel Baker Towe Mr Towe attended Rutgers University and graduated from the New Jersey School of Law in 1927 While still in school he started his career with New York Tele Lewis Lux 99s retired ladies clothing manufacturer Rose DeNicola 84a longtime Yonkers Mount non for 39 years and in Florida for nine She was a parishioner of St Church in Yonkers In addition to her husband she is survived by a son Henry DeNicola of Petaluma Calif two daughters Toni DeNicola of Yonkers and Phyllis of Bridgewater NJ three brothers Mario Violino of New Rochelle Sam Violino of West Palm Beach Fla Lewis Lux a former Rye Brook resident died Thursday June 25 1998 at his home in Pompano Beach Fla He was 99 Mr Lux was born Feb 19 1899 in New York City to Abraham and Dora Lux He graduated from DeWitt Clinton High School in the Bronx and earned a business degree from New Angela Teresa Tino Angela Teresa Tino an Ardsley resident died Friday June 26 1998 at her home She was 82 Mrs Tino was born March 5 1916 in New York City to Luigi and Rosalia Borgognona Guari-no She attended Brooklyn schools Until 1941 Mrs Tino was a seamstress embroiderer and presser in the New York City garment Hospital Center He was 83 He was born Jan 12 1915 in White Plains to Thomas and Maria Palladora Garofono Mr Gar-ofono was educated in local schools and graduated from Greenburgh High School On Oct 24 1937 he married Marion Barca at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in White Plains She died June 9 1990 Mr Garofono served in the Lillian Marie Saffko 59: former Yonkers retail Army from 1939 to 1943 He was a member of the American Legion in Valhalla He lived in North White Plains for more than 40 years spending much time with his grandchildren Carol Pedone and Robert Fetzko both of North White Plains Mr Garofono worked as a construction foreman for the Turner Construction Co for more than 30 years He worked at job sites throughout New York City and in White Plains before retiring 20 years ago Mr Garofono is 1 survived by Mr Pulley sold and clothing for many years His fomily said he enjoyed reading and listening to jazz In addition to his mother of New Rochelle Mr Pulley is survived by Saiko a lifelong Yonkers resident died Friday June 26 1998 at St John's Riverside Hospital in Yonkers She was 59 She was born March 19 1939 to Arthur and Lenice Wright Robinson She attended Yonkers public schools On May 17 1958 she married Roger Saiko Sr at St John's Episcopal Church in Getty Square Yonkers where she was a parishioner Mrs Saiko was a retail clerk at 565 Retail in Yonkers for 24 Pina Nath Bedi 59: owner of Data Link Computer Products Inc son From 1944 to 1957 he worked for the Harrison Highway Department During World War II he was a corporal in the 1380th Service Command Unit Mr Marchione served in Algeria French Morocco and Tunisia He received two Bronze Battle Stars a European-A (Wean-Middle Eastern Service Ribbon and a Good Conduct Ribbon Mr Marchione was a parishioner and an usher at St Gregory the Great Church in Harrison He York University Mr Lux married Sylvia Haies in 1927 in New York City where they lived She died in 1986 He was a partner at the Rosell Manufacturing Co a apparel manufacturer in Manhattan He retired in 1989 and in 1992 moved to Rye Brook In 1993 he moved to Pompano Beach 82: real estate investor Yonkers until 1952 then moved to Ardsley Mrs Tino was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help church in Ardsley Her fomily said she was a sue- cess (til real estate investor In addition to her husband she is survived by four daughters Joan Galligan of New Milford Conn Joyce Covino of Kent Conn Alice Tino of Ardsley and Kathleen De Keersmaeker of Paris a brother Anthony Guarino of Marlboro NY two sisters Jean Keller of sisters Clara He attended high school in India In 1957 he came to the United States to study at the University of Wisconsin and in 1961 received a degree in computer science from Syracuse University After Syracuse Mr Bedi i A -i Lynch Dina Nath Bedi a Chappaqua businessman and former presidential commission member died Tuesday June 23 1998 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla He was 59 Mr Bedi was born Jan 29 1939 in Sahranpur India to Premnath and Kushali Soni Bedi Mr Lux is survived by a son Arthur of Rye Brook three grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren Plaza Funeral Home in London he managed the computer department of British Airways In 1967 Mr Bedi moved to Montreal where he was vice president of Blue Cross in Canada He moved to Missouri in 1969 and earned his doctorate in computer science from the University of Missouri Columbia He moved to Chappaqua in 1972 Mr Bedi was a professor of computer science at Baruch College of the City University bf New York and director of the university's computer department from 1977 to 1984 He began the first training program for blind programmers at CUNY in 1980 From 1977 to 1980 he was a member of President Commission for the Visually Im- paired He developed talking calculators and Braille signs for elevators and national parks In 1981 Mr Bedi started Data Link Computer Products Inc in Mount Kisco one of the first IBM dealerships Data Link also was one of the first Apple computer dealers in this area In addition to his wife Mr Bedi is survived by a son Vick-ram of Chappaqua two brothers Keshav and Moham both of
