The second annual BUck Cowboy Parade will begin at 1230 p.m. bom the Aeon Shopping Center lot at 12th and Market streets: About 50 top black cowboys from throughout Northern, California are expected to participate with other riders, marching bands, drill teams, color guards and floats. The parade will conclude at the Oakland City.

Center around 2 p.m. when cowboys and other parade units pass a reviewing stand occupied, by city and county officials and dignitaries. An afternoon-long program of entertainment marking the dedication id the centers new plaza will follow the conclusion of the parade. Adeline CO Market St. CO i.

Diversity that is this city will take the stage tomorrow and Saturday for the City Center celebration.

Entertainment of many kinds will be featured during the big, free celebration that marks completion of the sub-surface City Center Plaza and formally dedicates the new 24-story Clorox Building. Completion of a construction project usually sees a gathering of business suited-men having their picture taken at a ribbon-cutting. But this isn't the usual construction project. And the whole town has been invited to come on down to the celebration. There is something for everyone, such as the Oakland ballet, rock music, a Saturday parade of black cowboys, mari-achi ensembles, a salsa trio, a marimba band, and the Oakland Symphony Chorus.

Nonstop entertainment will be under way at the Plaza tom 11:30 a.m. to I p.m. both dayi- Offtelal dedlcatlon Ceremonies will kick off events at 11:30 tomorrow. Temporary stages will be installed at the plaza to showcase the many performers. Offering by the Oakland Ballet, the The popular ensemble that calls itself SRO (for Standing Roan Only) will offer its unique specialty mini-versions of Broadway musical comedies.

The Center for Visual Aria is sponsoring in art-in-actlon show of a variety of skills, including painting, jewelry making, pottery and others. The Oakland Museum and the Oakland Public Library, in a joint effort, are presenting a peek at the city century ago.
