Obituaries Helen Hendrix, a retired finaneial and longtime Yonkers resident, died of heart failure Thursday at Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville. She was 87. Mrs. Hendrix was born May 8, 1905, in Memphis, to Clifford and Margaret Garrett Lansdell.

She grew up in Memphis and attended schools there. On Jan. 4, 1925, she married George Hendrix in Memphis. Mrs. Hendrix worked as a financial officer for the Bronxville Printery Corp.

for 27 years. She retired in 1979. Frances A. Broadfoot Helen M. Hendrix Frances A.

Broadfoot Dedrick, a social worker and former Yonkers resident, died Thursday at the Bennington (Vt.) Convalescent Home. She was 81. Mrs. Dedrick worked as a social worker for Westchester County in Yonkers and White Plains. She had been involved in community activities focusing on youth and families.

She was born in New York City on July 12, 1911, to Robert and Frances Linke Broadfoot, and she was raised and educated in Yonkers. She received a twoyear degree from Sarah Lawrence College in Yonkers and completed her college studies at Simmons College in Boston. She married Edgar Dedrick on Aug. 11, 1934, in Pound Ridge. In 1972, she and her husband retired and moved to Old Chatham, Sarah 'Coot' Williams: White Plains resident Sarah "Coot" Williams, who lived in White Plains for almost 50 years, died Tuesday at White Plains Hospital Center.

She was 78. She was born on March 12, 1914, in Orangeburg, S.C., to Lawrence and Connie Postell Williams. Miss Williams grew up in South Carolina and was educated there. She moved to White Plains in 1943. Miss Williams was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in White Plains, and a former member of St.

John's Church of God and Christ in White Plains. She is survived by four sisters, Gladys Bryant, Ann Rogers, Estelle Holt, and Rose Robinson, all of White Plains; and three brothers, the Rev. Lawrence Williams Jr. of Greenburgh, James Williams of White Plains, and John Williams of Champaign, Ill. Arrangements are being handled by Lee's Funeral Home in White Plains.

Bernard Kavanaugh: veteran Bernard Kavanaugh, a lifelong Port Chester resident a veteran of World War II, died Thursday at United Hospital Medical Center in Port Chester. He was 68. He was born Oct. 16, 1924, in Port Chester to Benjamin and Sarah McNamara Kavanaugh. He attended schools in Rye and graduated from Rye High School.

During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army. Later, Mr. Kavanaugh worked as a private chauffeur for families in Greenwich. He was member of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester.

Mr. Kavanaugh is survived by a nephew, Thomas Kavanaugh Jr. of Port Chester; and a niece, Nancy Bellantoni of Brewster; and four grandnephews. A brother, Thomas Kavanaugh, and a nephew, James Kavanaugh, died earlier. Arrangements are being handled by Craft Memorial Funeral Home in Port Chester.

Albert E. Rumball: retired florist Albert E. Rumball, a retired florist and 53-year Valhalla resident, died Wednesday at St. Agnes Hospital in White Plains. He was 76.

Mr. Rumball was born April 27, 1916, in Southey, Saskatchewan, to Edward and Ella Allendorf Rumball. He moved to Valhalla from Canada when he was 23. He was a florist at Lizzie Caterson Florist in Valhalla for 42 years, retiring in 1981. Mr.

Rumball served in the U.S. Army's 58th Medical Battalion in North Africa and Europe during World War II. In 1957 he married Helen Klarer in Pleasantville. She died in 1965. He was a member of St.

John's Episcopal Church in Pleasantville. Mr. Rumball is survived by a sister, Elizabeth M. Rumball of Valhalla. Contributions in his memory are being made to St.

John's Episcopal Church, 8 Sunnyside Ave, Pleasantville, N.Y, 10570. Arrangements are being handied by Ballard- Durand Funeral Home in White Plains. 4B Saturday, Michelina November 28, 1992 RDM TR PC MK Tamburello: homemaker Michelina Tamburello, a Queens homemaker, died from complications of Alzheimer's disease Wednesday at her daughter's White Plains home. She was' 83. She lived in Whitestone, Queens, and frequently visited her daughter in White Plains.

She was born July 2,: 1909, to Francesco and Luigia Ciulla LoGrande in Bisacquino, Italy. She grew up in Italy, where she attended schools. On Oct. 31, 1931, she married Michael Tamburello in Bisacquino. In 1947, she came to the United States and settled in the Bronx.

She moved to Whitestone Satenig Maksudian: Satenig Maksudian, a 43-year Larchmont resident, died yesterday at her home in Larchmont. She was 81. She was born to Krikor and Azniv Churoian Annigian in Constantinople, Turkey. In 1921, her family immigrated to the United States. They spent several years in St.

Joseph, and Detroit before moving to New York City. After graduating from James Monroe High School in New York, she worked as a bookkeeper. In 1936, she married Edward Maksudian. The couple moved to Larchmont in 1949. He died in 1989.

While her children attended school, Mrs. Maksudian was active in the local Parent Teachers Association, and the Twins Mothers' Club. She later worked as a financial assistant but still found time to participate in the Larchmont Community Chorus and to volunteer for the county Board of Elections and the Internal Revenue Service. "She would go to the IRS and help people out," said her son, William Maksudian. "People Anthony Orlando: retired Anthony Orlando, a retired plasterer from White Plains, died Friday in the Port Chester Nursing Home of heart failure.

He was 84. He was born June 13, 1908, in White Plains to Donato and Maria Orlando. He was educated in the city's public schools. On July 8, 1934, he married Concetta Iello in White Plains. Mr.

Orlando was a member of the White Plains local of the Bricklayers, Masons and Plasterers Union of America. After retiring at the age of 54, he worked as a maintenance man for the Westchester County Medical Cen- Lillian B. Krippel: former Lillian B. Krippel, a former Scarsdale and Bronxville resident, died Sunday at Lake Forest (Ill.) Hospital. She was 87.

Mrs. Krippel was born May 7, 1905, in Atlanta to Adrian and Annice Barr. She was educated in Atlanta public schools. She also attended Agnes Scott College in Georgia. On March 6, 1930, she married' Frank W.

Krippel in Atlanta. She lived in Scarsdale from 1942 to 1970. From 1970 to 1988, she lived in Rye and Bronxville. In 1988, she moved to Illinois. Lucy De Esso: homemaker Lucy DeEsso of Carmel, a former Mount Vernon resident and homemaker, died of cancer Thursday at Danbury (Conn.) Hospital.

She was 84. Mrs. DeEsso lived in Mount Vernon from the early 1920s until 1987, when she moved to Carmel to live with her son, Carmine DeEsso. She was born Sept. 24, 1908, to Carmine and Josephine Balascio Constantinople in Jersey City, N.J.

The family moved to Mount Vernon about 1921. On Sept. 27, 1925, she married Frank DeEsso in Mount Vernon. Mary A. Kantrowitz retired Mary A.

Kantrowitz, a retired bookkeeper from Hartsdale, died at her home Thursday of multiple sclerosis. She was 77. She was born March 24, 1915, in Susquehanna, to Andrew and Theresa Morzillo. In 1928, she moved to White Plains and attended the city's schools. In 1936, she married Louis Kantrowitz in Mount Carmel Church in White Plains.

"She was the nicest lady in the Herman I. Bloom: author Herman I. Bloom of Longmeadow, the father of a Harrison woman who wrote mystery and romance novels, died Thursday at Bay State Medical Center in Springfield, Mass. He was 84. Mr.

Bloom was born Oct. 14, 1908, to Meyer and Anne Hurwitz Bloom in Springfield. He attended schools in Springfield and graduated from the High School of Commerce there. He also studied accounting at the Springfield campus of Northeastern University. In 1942, he married Julia Prosansky.

She died in 1954. Three years later he married Nellie Levine in Longmeadow. She died Gannett Suburban Newspapers Robert C. Alexander: General in 1960. Mrs.

Tamburello was a homemaker who raised five daughters. She was a parishioner of St. Luke's Church in Whitestone. Mrs. Tamburello is survived by her husband; five daughters, Frances Ciulla of Newburgh, N.Y., Louise Grizzaffi of the Bronx, Anna Calapa of White Plains, Mary DiMarino of West Harrison, and Josephine Cestra of Whitestone; a sister, Felecia LoGrande of -Bisacquino; 11 grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren.

Scarsdale resident For the past four years, she lived in Lake Bluff, Ill. While living in Scarsdale, she was involved with the Scarsdale Women's Club. Mrs.

Krippel is survived by two sons, Frank of Lake Bluff and John of Eastchester; nine grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren. Her husband died Jan. 3, 1971. A sister, Dorothy Lanier, died earlier. Arrangements are being handled by Lloyd Maxcy Sons Beauchamp Chapel in New Rochelle.

While living in Carmel, Mrs. DeEsso attended St. James the Apostle Church. In addition to her son Carmine, she is survived by another son, Anthony DeEsso of Larchmont; a brother, Carmine Constantinople of Mount Vernon; a sister, Katherine Bach of Larchmont; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Her husband died Jan.

Mary Shatz became his wife in 1982. The couple married in Bloomfield, Conn. They shared homes in Longmeadow and Coconut Creek, Fla. Mr. Bloom was also a noted author who wrote under the pseudonyms of Harmon Bellamy and Gordon Caldwall.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Muriel Bruskin of Harrison and Miriam Chaiklin of Bloomfield; two brothers, Jack of Springfield and Paul of Longmeadow; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The Harold R. Ascher Son Memorial Chapel in Springfield handled funeral arrangements. Mrs. Hendrix is survived by a son, George E.

Hendrix Jr. of Bronxville; one daughter, Sara FitzGerald of Bonita Springs, two sisters, Ruth Ellis and Ruby Williams, both of Orange, a brother, Alfred Lansdell of Orange; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Her husband died in September 1990. Fred H. McGrath Son Funeral Home Inc.

She is survived by one daughter, Clarissa Carabateas of Nassau, N.Y.; two sons, Robert Dedrick of Meriden, and Alan Dedrick of Erin, N.Y.; and eight grandchildren. Robert C. Alexander, a General Motors repair worker, died Wednesday of a pulmonary edema at Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville. He was 52. He had finished his shift and was heading home Wednesday when he pulled to the side of the Sprain Brook Parkway just north of Jackson Avenue, said his wife, Vermille. He was unconscious when he was brought by ambulance to Lawrence Hospital.

He was born Feb. 1, 1940, in South Hill, to Joseph B. and Mamie Lena Dortch Alexander. He attended South Hill schools and graduated from East End High School in South Hill.He was a member of Venture Grove Baptist Church in Bracey, Va. Mr.

Alexander settled in New Rochelle in 1959. He had worked for General Motors in North Tarrytown for about 25 years, a career that was interrupted by a stint in U.S. Army. She was born July 29, 1900, to John and Maria Losso Olivier in Venice, Italy, where she was raised and educated. In June 1920, she married Louis Olivier in Venice.
