Swim Class For Moms, Tots Open The swimming class for mothers and babies began at the Santa Venetia Swimming Club yesterday. The course is taught by Mrs. Robert Sempell. The purpose of the class is to instruct the mothers in methods of introducing their children to the water. The class is designed to provide for instruction and practice in the beginning fundamentals of swimming.

All classes are in the mornings Monday tnrough Friday for a two-week period. A class for beginner mothers and a class for children four to five is taught also during this period. Blithedale DU S-14S4 MILL VALLEY Girl Scoufs Are Given Awards By Ross Troops In Ceremonial Many troops were represented at the Court of Awards for Ross Girl Scouts held Wednesday night at Ross Grammar school. The ceremony was begun with the flag ceremony conducted by Troop 121 members. Lyle Parmelee, assisted by Louise Abbott, Ann Teller, Virginia Rothrock, Louisa Curro and Edie Henrich. The Rev. Harold E.

Hallett, rector of St. Church, Ross, delivered the invocation. Lynne Eddy of Troop 174, mistress of ceremonies, gave a talk on Scouting and Cathy Cole, Susan Sheppard, Kathy Fischer and Sharon Barnes of the same troop conducted the candlelighting ceremony. Bunny Brown was conductor of the songs by girls of Mariner Ship 132 and when the awards were presented, the introductions were made by Patty Charlton. Mrs.

Lloyd Parmelee and Mrs. Harry Scott, leaders of Troop 180, awarded the second class badge to a large group of members of this troop including: Doris Deedy, Ellisa Dufficy, Jeanne Fixes, Jacky Loomer, Merry Major, Kathy honey, Gwen Parmelee, Peggy Pier, Susan Plant, Susan Selfridge, Marty Scott, Jane Smith, Susan Solinsky and Vickie Simpson. Jeanne Fixes outlined the activities. TROOP 181 The activities of Troop 181 were outlined by Jean Manwaring and the second class badge was awarded by leaders, Mrs. J.

W. Scott and Mrs. G. L. Maclise, to Beverly Brown, Ruth Brown, Marta Flax, Jeanne Garner, Meg Gentes, Pamela Hornby, Susan Jones, Susan Maclise, Jean Manwaring, Nancy Reeve, Barbara Scott, Anita Skewes-Cox, Nancy Thomas and Linda Willcutt.

TROOP 174 Sandra Strom told of the projects of Troop 174 and proficiency badges were presented by the leaders, Mrs. John McGee and Mrs. George Sheppard, to Sandra Ahrens, Sharron Barnes, Tory Bortfeld, Penny Burman, Sheila Cauldwell, Cathy Cole, Donna Dog- nato, Lynne Diamond, Barbara Eddy, Diane Escavaillo, Kathy Fischer, Susan Gabbs, Joan Garner, Nancy Grace, Donna Hartmann, Lynne Heilig, Natalie Lewis, Jennie Lyons, on Macabe, Laurel McCauley, Nancy McGee, Robyn McKendry, Nancy Nutting, Janet Os- taggi, Barbara Roberts, Marcella Roddy, Susan Sheppard, Sandra Strom, Robin Wolfson and Carolyn Zeiss. Alexander Black and Mrs. W. D. Lang, leaders, awarded badges and first class awards, and Miss Lois Little presented the Curved Bar. The program was concluded with a talk by Mrs. Kenneth Anderson on Girl Scout Camps. Other activities the P-TA has sponsored during the school year were seventh and eighth grade dances at Park School and transportation of children to the San Francisco Symphony during the season. Return To Mill Valley Mr. and Mrs. Ritchie Dunn III have recently returned from a two year stay in Southern California to their home in Mill Valley. Ritchie is the son of the senior John Ritchie Dunns of Pebble Beach and the brother of Mrs.

Sidney Porter of San Rafael. The bride wore a gown of white tulle and Chantilly lace which had a fitted bodice, sweetheart neckline, small, short puffed sleeves and a chapel length train. A coronet of pearls with white net leaves held her fingertip illusion veil and she carried an old fashioned bouquet of stephanotis centered with three white orchids and tied with white satin ribbon, the streamers caught with clusters of stephanotis. Mrs. Neil Jannes of San Fran- cvisco, matron of honor, wore a white lace sheath over pink silk and the pink silk curaber- bund was tied with a bow at the back.

Pink carnations and baby roses were in her old fashioned bouquet and baby roses were caught to the streamers. The brother, Lawrence David Porter, who is stationed by Naval Air at Ocean Beach, was here to serve as best man and two San Franciscans, Edmund Greene and Robert La Vine, were the ushers. Rabbi Morton Hoffman of Temple Rodef Sholom in San Rafael officiated at the candlelight ceremony. White stock and gladioli were in standards on the white carpeted floor and the same flowers were the altar decorations. A dinner, attended by 140 guests, followed the wedding.

White flowers and candles based with ribbon were on the table and the three tiered wedding cake was topped with flowers. For her going away outfit the bride wore a soft moss green wool suit by Pat- tulo, a smoke colored chiffon skirt and an embroidered veil with velvet ribbon. White orchids were pinned to her jacket. The young couple will reside at 3119 Jackson San Francisco. The bride, who has one brother, Robert Kerman Braun of San Francisco, is a graduate of Lowell High school in San Francisco and of the University of California where she was a member of Delta Phi Epsilon sorority.

She is the granddaughter of Morris H. Levy of San Francisco. The bridegroom, a certified public accountant in San Francisco, is a graduate of Hyde Park school in Chicago. He attended University of Chicago and University of California from which he was graduated. A Phi Beta Kappa, he was affiliated with Sigma Alpha Mu, Beta Alpha Pi and Beta Gamma Sigma.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Zimmerman of Chicago who were here for the wedding. Strawberry P-TA To Install Its Co-Presidents Mr. and Mrs.

Harold T. Tomlinson will be installed as presidents of the Strawberry unit of the Parent Teacher Assn. at the final meeting of the year tomorrow at 8 p.m. in the multi-purpose room of the school. Other officers to be installed are Mesdames Joseph Gresser, vice president and program chairman; True B.

Webber, second vice president; Kenneth Duffin, secretary; and C. E. Harvey, treasurer. The Tomlinsons plan to assign couples to most of the committee appointments to the executive board of the unit in order to encourage a more active father contingent during the year. Mrs.

John Binckley, retiring president, has announced that the program of the evening will highlight a presentation by Cal Riemcke, on the staff of the College of Marin, who will direct the summer recreation program of the Strawberry recreation district this year. Mrs. George Fay, president of the Strawberry Summer Theater, will tell of program plans for that group.
