Milan Home Damaged By Fire A wood stove was listed as the cause of a fire that dam aged a Milan RD 1 (Laurel Hill) residence Monday morning. According' to a report by Smithfield Fire Captain Ronald Ayers, the blaze was confined to one corner of the two-story wood-frame house owned by George Jefferson. The alarm was called in at about 7:45 a.m. and the fire company responded with four pieces of equipment. Mutual aid was provided by Ulster and Athens Township with one truck apiece.
