MITCHELL HOME ON FURLOUGH WILL PREACH AUGUST 16 and 23 Subject Sunday Morning: AN AMBASSADOR IN CHAINS All Boston Avenue people will wish an opportunity to meet and to hear the message of the churchs representative on the foreign field. Rev. Mr. Mitchell is dean of the Methodist Seminary for the training of native preachers, Havana. In addition, he pastors three churches in the interior, has certain editorial duties, and does considerable writing and translating of materials.

In providing the support of this well-trained and consecrated young missionary, Boston Avenue Church not only strengthens her arm of service, hut honors herself. Mr. Mitchell will he entertained in the home of Rev. and Mrs. Roy G.

Warren. MARRIED FOLKS CLASS Our Ice Cream Supper on August 4th was well attended. Some 30ft people were served despite the threatening weather. A good time was had and our treasury was increased by the net profit of $42.50. Especially we want to thank the many who sent cakes.

Our attendance of 174 Sunday set a new high for an August Sunday. Your Teacher and Executive Board are elated at the interest that is being maintained during these Summer Months. There are reasons for this. Community Hall is air conditioned and comfortable. Dr.

Grow always has a lesson that attracts and interests a crowd. Me want to thank Helene Linam for our special musical number. Her vocal solo was enjoyed. She was accompanied by Mrs. Werton D.
