Miss Laura Eldridge, new music was introduced and, supervisoriea by Miss Priscilla Tunick, music teacher at the Junior High School, sang several selections.

Miss Berlanstein explained how long division is taught to her pupils and discussed the work done by the class. The room was decorated masks made by the children and with marigolds, jack o' lanterns and black candles. Attending Mrs. Julius Sikas, PTA president, John M. Minuse, principal, Mrs.

Albert Chayes-Walton Nuptials Are Held Miss, Martha Alice Walton, daughter of Mr. Arthur Norman Walton, of Washington, and Aaron Herbert Chayes, son of Mr. and Nat Chayes, son of and Mrs. Nat Chayes of 59 Central Avenue, Rye, were married Saturday at the Chayes home. Judge Roger Sherman, of Rye, performed the ceremony and a reception followed.

Pupils of the kindergarten through the fourth grade assembled in the auditorium and members of the fifth through the eighth grades gathered in the gymnasium. AVC And Auxiliary Features Party On Halloween A Halloween party was ed on Saturday night by members of the Port Chester-Rye-Harrison chapter of the American Veterans' Committee and the Auxiliary at Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Levy, 15 Parkway Drive, Port Chester. This is the first fair to be sponsored by the newly-formed Auxiliary. Mrs.

Milton Miller was chairman and about 40 attended attired in Halloween costumes. Prizes were given for games which ranged from bobbing for apples to "whistle with a mouthful of crackers."
