Raymond Kaynor, chairman of the ball committee, reporting that many members already have signified their intention of attending the affair, announced that reservations will close tomorrow night. The entire proceeds will go toward the operation of the new American. Legion Servicemen's Bureau established at 231 Harrison Avenue, he pointed out. Serving on the committee with Mr.

Among the members, he said, are 33 veterans of the present war, including two WACs. Woven Flag Wins Honors A group award has been made to the Harrison Girl Scout Council for outstanding work by the Westchester Children's Association as the result of the exhibit of a handwoven American Flag made last year by Troop 3, it was announced today. The flag was displayed at the toy and book sale of the association in White Friday and Saturday, in the Harrison Plains, Girl Scouts participated. A weaving demonstration in connection with the display was given by Scouts Miriam Glube and Barbara Vaughn, members of Troop 3. Other Scouts who had a hand in making the flag under the direction of Miss Madelenie Schoenhof were Elizabeth Bisceglia, Patricia Maxwell, Rose Volpe, Evelyn Polk, Geraldine Klein, Theresa Delaney, Barbara Ann Fuller, Helen Heintze, Mary Murray, Helen Winker, Jeanette Adam and Thomasina Lapina.

Leaders Active The naming of Mrs. Harold Gilbert as chairman of the Leaders' Association, was also announced today as well as the induction of five new leaders and an outline of plans for the year. Mrs. Edward 'Scheinoha was named secretary. The new leaders include Mrs.

Paul Campbell, Mrs. Carl Brown, Mrs. William Scelia, Mrs. Scheinoha and Mrs. John Schofield.

The year's program will include the organization of a monthly newspaper of Girl Scout activities, the scheduling of monthly movies, a series of field trips to points of interest in nearby communities and the sending of Christmas cards to servicemen convalescing in hospitals in this area for their use at the holiday season. Calabrese Promoted At Yuma Air Field Tony S. Calabrese, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dominick Calabrese, 14 Ann Street, Silver.

Lake, was promoted to corporal and received his silver aerial gunner's wings upon completion of the flexible gunnery course for radio men at the Yuma Air Field, recently. Cpl. Calabrese, who also has completed the course at the radio and mechanics school at Scott Field, is a graduate of White Plains High School and Colby College, and was assistant manager of a White Plains grocery store before entering service. The board also accepted' with regret the resignation of Miss Irene Dempsey, a member of the High School office staff for four years.

Miss Dempsey has taken a position in New York City. 28 Rye Boy Scouts Enjoy Camping Trip Twenty-eight Rye Boy Scouts and Cubs, of the Milton School troop, who had contributed most to the success of the recent paper salvage drive in Rye were awarded with a weekend trip and camp at the Siwanoy Reservation recently. The boys left on Saturday morning and returned on Sunday afternoon. Many passed scout tests while at camp, enjoying at the same time, horseback riding, canoing and hiking. Some of the scouts attended Mass at Pawling on Sunday and the rest attended church service at the Rye Cabin conducted by scout officials.

The Harrison Smoke Fund All Stars, who have been playing football under the name of the Mamaroneck Stars during the season, will play against the New Rochelle All Stars.
