LAS VEGAS 80 SUNDAY, DECEMBER 12, 1993 Glenn Smith Glenn Smith and Passion to open at Palace Station The group Passion will open a one-week run at the Loading Dock Lounge at Palace Station Hotel Casino on Tuesday. Glenn Smith is also opening that day. Passion will perform three times daily between 9:30 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. Sara Schaad is the lead singer for Passion, which also features Jacline McCreanor and Jennifer Lacy.

Ronnie Rillera, the band's musical director, is a songwriter, vocalist and founder of Passion. He shares production and arrangement responsibilities with his brother, Al. Dan Stein provides the rhythms for the group. The band plays songs from the '60s through the '90s, including ballads, dance tunes and rock 'n' roll. Also performing in the Loading Dock Lounge starting Tuesday is Glenn Smith.

He will perform three times daily between 5 and 9 At Circus Circus Passion will start a one-week engagement at the Palace Station Tuesday. p.m. until Dec. 26. Smith, who plays the piano, banjo and harmonica, performs songs that range from ballads to Mozart to contemporary tunes.
