Mrs. Y. M. Lyons visited in IHomer a week-end. While there she had the pleasure of seeing an oil well conmc in-the latest one on the Langston lease.

Jordan returned home or Tuesday after a'eeompanying his daugh ter, Miss Bessie to Martha Washington College, Abington, Va. Herring and B. A. Brewer, spent Tuesday at the meeting at Monroe, held at the Baptist church in the interest of the 75 Million Campaign. The talks by Dr. Truett of Dallas and Dr.

M. E. Dodd, of Shreveport and Mrs. Bose of Louisville, were especially full of information and inspiration. The ladies served an excellent dinner and supper to the visitors and the meeting as a whole was a great success and much enjoyed.
