Salem and Red Brush Reunion Held WILLIAMSFIELD - perfect weather favored the annual Salem-Red Brush picnic Sunday as softie 60 friends assembled in the ttappy Hollow Lake pavilion for the reunion. Present for the basket dinner were; Mr. and Mrs. Orlow Hazen, Mr. and Mrs. Verne Conley, Bob and Glenn, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Doubet and^ Karen, 0 f Knoxville; Mr. and Mrs. LaVernO Hazen and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Hazen, of East Peoria; Mr. and Mrs. Larry Clevenger, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Bale, Frances, Linda, Charles and David, of Galesburg; Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Lapham, Oneida, and grandson, Keith Allen, West Jersey; Mrs. Max Gale and Brent, Dahinda; Frank, Peterson and Mrs. Willard Peterson, of Victoria; Mr. and Mrs. Merl Gale, Preston and June, Mrs. Bertha Johnston, Mrs. Grace Johnson, Mrs. Wilma King and Stanley, of Williarrisfield. Joining them in the afternoon were Mrs. Delia McNaught and Harvey Tanner, of Victoria; Mr. and Mrs. Riley McNaught, Andre and Bert, Galva; Mrs. Bessie Cadwell, Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Barfield, Roger and Kathy, of Galesburg; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Switzer, Lanark, and Mrs. Myrtle Bale, Hermon. The day had also been designated as a class reunion of WHS graduates of 1932, but only three class members were able to attend. They were Mrs. Switzer, LaVerne Hazen and Robert Doubet. (Mrs. Max Gale represented her husband, a member of that class). Letters were from Mrs. John Cropin of Princeville; Mrs. Donald Coe, Peoria, and Everett Cadwell, Pana. Mr. and Mrs. Alden Swanson, Sherrill and Max/Victoria; Mr. and Mrs. Faye Slaughter, Mr. and Mrs. William Brown and family, of LeClaire, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Rolland Stone and family, Gerlaw, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stone, Alexis. Afternoon callers were Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Derham and family, Mr. and Mi's. Jack Derham and family, of Knoxville, and Mr. and Mrs. Guy Bates and family, DeLong.
