I if fc 94 Southern Cotton Association Meeting In Dallas Next Week Will Be Largely Attended Special to the Herald Dallas Texas Feb 13 The Dallas Commercial Club is in daily receipt of advices indicating that the convention of the Southern Cotton Association in this city next week will he a recordbreaking event as regards attendance Everj state of the South is arranging to send a large delegation and included among those in attendance will be many men of prominence The convention will deal exhaust ively with every question relating to the industry Problems relating to warehousing financing and marketing the cotton crop will be fully discussed and steps taken to improve the exist ing conditions and methods Presi dent Harvie Jordan will preside and among the noted speakers will be Governor Campbell of Texas North director of the United States census bureau It Dodson director of the Louisiana State experiment station John Walker of Sparta Ga and Milner commissioner of agriculture of Texas The Dallas Commercial Club is in charge of the arrangements for the reception and entertainment of the visitors and nothing is to be left undone to make the convention a success
