The murder seemed to have been don" in retaliation for threats made against an old colored man named Reeso McKnight, by Lawin, who wns drunk at the tlnio, and also at the time when he was killed. Yesterday the case of Andy Williams, color eu. convicted of the murder of Adolplio jcuiscne, in county, in 1807, for which crime he was convicted and sentenced to be hung, was disposed of.
