1 'Voice' Figures Range WASHINGTON (AP) The Voice of America has completed a survey of its global audience and concluded that about 43 million people a week tune in on the U.S. government overseas radio, The study, described by Voice authorities as their first such comprehensive estimate, compares with earlier official guesses that the U.S. broadcasts reached an average daily foreign audience of 20-25 million which shot up to perhaps 80 million during international crises.
