The show open Wednesday. Another BHS art exhibit is already on display at Fairway Gallery In the McLean County Bank.

Eastland's show involves freshmen through seniors and both art and non-art students. Entry fees paid by students go to the Art Club, sponsor of the event. The Fairway Show, on display all month, is by advanced drawing and painting classes and senior studio students. It includes mostly paintings, drawings, and assemblages. The Eastland Show will feature many different forms of art work sculpture, crafts, collages, paintings, drawings, ceramics and architecture projects, to name a few.

Both shows are to provide recognition for the students and to offer works for sale. Items for sale will be marked as such. Students will be on hand at Eastland after school to explain various processes used in creating the projects. "1 I The entire project has been student-planned and carried out. It is the first Ume the Art Club has sponsored a show of this nature, although individuals have entered their own work in other public art exhibits.

Actually Art Club Is a new idea at BHS too. Members meet Wednesday nights for workshops and to hear guest speakers. Officers Include Amy Snyder, president; Lynn Clchon, vice-president; Val Asbury, secretary; and Mitch Anhclcr, treasurer. They were primarily responsible for the show. The student who have art entered fii the two shows are coached by Herb Curtis, Mrs.

Betty Aamot and Gary Wolth, all of the BHS art department. The school offers two basic art courses, half year elective courses in individual areas and senior studio. Shari is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dwain Mool. She is currently serving as vice-president of GAA of which she has been an active member for four years. She is also senior class secretary and chorus president.

She has been active in AFS, French Club, FHA and her church youth group. Shari was homecoming attendant her junior year. Arthur, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Drake, is a member of the Na-' tional Honor Society, associate editor of the school newspaper and is very active in band.

Shari plans on working after graduation. Arthur will attend college and hopes to major in journalism. Paintings of all shapes, sizes and kinds are just part of the variety of artistic creations completed for the BHS shows at Fairway Gallery and Eastland Mall. Works will be offered for sale.
