The Democrats of Lower Milford and other places in the lower section gathered at tbe hotal of Elmer Hillegas, at Hosensack, on Saturday to hear the arguments of the orators for the success of the Democratio party in the present campaign. Tbere was a big attendance and all listened eagerly to the addresses of E. J.

Lichtenwalner, I. T. Erdman, Hon. J. W.

Mayne and Hon. Jonas F. Moyer. They severely but truthfully arraigned the Quay machine for its evil and corrupt practices. Indisputable arguments and facts were advanced to show that it is corrupt and rotten to the core, and that tbe time to redeem our commonwealth from the hands of those who only seem competent to misgovern ns has come.

They showed that the party is being run by olans and cl fines, causing the abandm -ment of Bound and irrupt pii icipl tbe nomirj tion of incapable, dishonest and corrupt men for responsible positions, whose only qualifications for official distinction are based upon a blind ad eera dorricli's kouniy. awwer's bod nix. der hulto grickt sie sbure.
