Main, Bloomington White Space DOES Increase Readership Of Ads I I 1 Bloomington Normal Deaths Mrs. Elizabeth Tully, Mrs. Elizabeth F. Tully, 74, resident of the Heritage Manor, died at St. Joseph's Hospital 4 p.m.

Monday. She entered hospital Saturday. Her body has been donated to Stritch Medical Foundation at Loyola University. The sary will be at the Flynn neral Home at 8 tonight. Mass will be celebrated at Trinity Church at Wednesday.

She was born June 23, at El Paso, a daughter of John Fruin and Mary Doherty Fruin. She was a graduate of the versity of Illinois and did graduate work at the University of Wisconsin and the school social work at Washington versity in St. Louis. She was married to Ralph Tully at El Paso in 1920. died in 1954.

She had been ployed by the Department Public Welfare in Woodford McLean Counties as a worker and was also later the board of review of the partment of public welfare, nois Public Aid Commission. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Fitchorn, 1006 Elder; a son, John E. Tully, Santa Ana, two sisters, Mrs. Herbert Reeves, Pasadena, Mrs.

Robert Gibbens, Kalamazoo, a brother, Mark Fruin, El Paso; eight grandchildren. Her husband and nine brothers and sisters preceded her death. She was a member of Holy Trinity Church, the Altar and Rosary Society, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the 8 40 auxiliary. Mrs. Lucille Mock The funeral of Mrs.

Lucille Velma Mock, 42, of 1209 N. Livingston will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Stamper Memorial Home. The Rev. George, Casper will officiate, and burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the memorial home. Mrs. Mock died Monday St. John's Hospital in Springfield. Survivors include her father, Claude Kendall, of 34 Payne Place, Normal, and her mother, Mrs.

Thompson, sits in the space agency's experimental "flying brick" re -entry vehicle, which was successfully tested at Edwards AFB Tuesday. It is designed to ferry astronauts back to earth from a capsule or space station, landing on earth.

General Electric Names 3 Men To Plant Posts Three new appointments have been made to positions in the manufacturing section at the General Purpose Control Department of General Electric Company, it was announced Tuesday by M. D. Davis, manager of manufacturing in Bloomington. The appointments are David Morse of 1912 Garling Drive, manager of shop operations in small relays; Richard L. Seigel of 219 Magnolia Drive, manager of shop operation in solenoids and relays, and Clarence 0.

Favourite of Lockport, N.Y., manager of shop operations in molding and processes. Mr. Morse began with the company in June 1961 at Lynchburg, Va. He has been at the Bloomington plant since June 1964. He received a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering from the University of Florida in 1961.

Mr. Seigel joined General Electric in August 1951 in Schenectady, N.Y. His positions have included methods and planing specialist, equipment specialist and, until his recent promotion, was methods, planning and time standard specialist. He has attended New York State Teachers College in Albany, N.Y. Mr.

Favourite comes to the Bloomington plant from Lockport. He was a supervisor of production and purchasing for a plastics molding firm there. He had been a supervisor of molding and finishing for 10 years at the General Electric plant in Decatur. He began with General Electric at Fort Wayne, in 1923. Collision Brings Firemen, Charge Normal firemen were called out at 4:02 p.m.

Monday to wash down gasoline spilled from a car following an accident at School and Willow. Ruby, L. Mohr, 58, of R.R. 1, Normal, one of the drivers, was charged with failure to grant right-of-way to a vehicle driven by Milo Marquis, 50, of R.R. 1, Normal.

Neither driver was injured. The Mohr woman will appear Aug. 3 in magistrate court to answer the charge placed by police. Damage to the bound Marquis car was estimated at $800. The Mohr car, headed north, was damaged to the tune of about $200, police said.

Senior Ettien Faces Charge Edward F. Ettien of MobilLand Trailer Park will appear Aug. 3 in Magistrate Court to answer a contributing to the dependency and neglect of chil-1 dren charge filed against him by Normal police. He is free on $40 bond. Ettien was charged following the June 29 arrest of five youths involved in a fight at 1210 Emeline, Normal.

One of the five boys was his son. The five were charged with unlawful possession of liquor, assault and batery. Morals Count Placed on Pair Park Supt. Grover Katthoefer Monday signed public indecency complaints against two men arrested in the restroom at Miller Park's animal house. Arrested shortly after noon Monday were Joseph Lynn Collier.

Central Illinois Deaths Cornelius M. Flynn CULLOM (PNS) Cornelius M. Flynn, 79, formerly of Emington, died at the Odell Shelter at 2:20 p.m. Monday. He had been a patient there the past three and a half years.

His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Catholic Church in Cullom conducted by the Rev. O. T.

Fulton. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Visitation will be this evening at the Stewart Funeral Home in Cullom. William J.

McCrea WAYNESVILLE (PNS) William J. McCrea, 56, died unexpectedly at 4:10 a.m. Monday at his home near Waynesville. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the G.

H. Tuttle home in Atlanta. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Waynesville. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 o'clock tonight at the Tuttle home. The Quiram Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.

Louis Parr MASON CITY Louis Parr, 91, of Mason City died at 5:20 a.m. Monday at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln. A retired farmer, he was a resident of the Christian Nur" sing Home in Mason City. He was taken to Holland and Barry Funeral home in Lincoln. Arrangements are incomplete.

Jerry Simmons, 35, was dancing on I-55 near 1 Illinois 9 when the booming voice of Trooper Robert Clifford brought the dance to a halt about 2:30 a.m. The dance cost Simmons $15 in Magistrate Court for obstructing persons on a highway.

Air Pollution Hearing Set The Illinois Air Pollution Control Board has set 10 a.m. July 27 at the village hall in Monsanto for its July meeting. The eight-member board is scheduled to vote on the Morris Tick Company's request for permission to continue open burning under specified conditions. The Tick case was heard at a public hearing in May. Payroll Check Listed Stolen A $95 payroll check was reported stolen from an unlocked locker at Keith's Bakery, 508 W.

Monday at Pekin Memorial Hospital. He had been a patient since June 6 and in failing health 11 years. His funeral will be at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Preston Funeral Home and 9 a.m. in St.

Joseph's Church. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-9 o'clock tonight at the funeral home with the Rosary at 8 o'clock. Frank L. Finnell PONTIAC (PNS) Frank L.

Finnell, 87, of 520 N. Main, died at 12:15 p.m. Monday in St. James Hospital. He had been in failing health five years and seriously ill two weeks.

His funeral will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. J. T.

Shields officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will after 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Harris Funeral Home where the Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m.

He was born Jan. 10, 1879, in Pike Township, a son of John and Anna Nolan Finnell. He attended rural schools. He married Nora Bower, June 10, 1902, at Pontiac. Surviving are his wife; a son, Leo, R.R.

1, Chenoa; three daughters, Mrs. Gladys Dougherty, Chicago; Mrs. Lucille Shaw, 1916 Owens ington; Mrs. Nora Mae Ralphe, Des Plaines; sister, Mrs. James Hayes, El Paso; nine grandchildren and 29 greatgrandchildren.

He was a member of St. Mary's Church. He farmed all his life until retiring in 1953 when he moved to Pontiac..
