Mervyn Dymally and two legislators Tuesday issued a strong pro test of this weekend's scheduled Davis Cup tennis matches between the United States and the Republics of South Africa at the Newport Tennis Club in Newport Beach. Granadas, who had been stabbed to death, was found lying in the driveway just outside the apartment. Police were called to the scene at 2:28 a.m. by a resident reporting shots fired in the area. Homicide detectives said the motive for the shooting is "not entirely clear," but added they believe they have a case against 'Rusendez. Carson man electrocuted A 20-year-old worker was electrocuted Tuesday while using a sand sifting machine at a Carson foundry.

The county coroner's office identified the man as Miguel Lopez Orduno of Los Angeles. He died at at Gardena Memorial Hospital. A sheriff's spokesman said Orduno was working at the Major Brass Foundry at 116 E. 162nd St. when a cord on the machine he was using shorted out.
