William and Dellla Shirk Krledcr. She was married to Hcye H. Heuerman Dec. 23, 1909, at Shannon. He died March 12, 1936.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Snavely, Shannon, and Mrs. William R. Lueck, 920 Hovey, Normal; a son, Chester, Peoria; a brother, David Kreidcr, Shannon and a sister, Mrs. Charles Moon, Tucson, Ariz.

Rear-end crash leaves one hurt A 27-ycar-old Bloomington woman was injured in a three-car accident in the 1500 block of North Main Street shortly before 8:30 p.m. Friday. Mrs. Janice Schmidt, 27, of 1101'i Kern, Normal, was listed In fair condition at Brokaw Hospital Friday night. Bloomington police reported that Mrs.

Schmidt was a passenger in the northbound car driven by her husband, Donald P. Schmidt, 28, of the Normal street address. Mr. Schmidt had stopped his car behind a car driven by Dale L. VanElcn, 22.

Kilbourne. A third car, driven by John E. Keyser, 17, of 316 Vista, collided with the rear of the Schmidt car, according to police. The Schmidt car then was forced Into the rear of the VanElcn automobile. Keyser was charged with failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

He posted his driver's license as bond. Rural driver faces driving charge E. Daugherty, 39, of R.R, 4, was being held In the Bloomington city jail late Friday charged with drunken driving. City police said they stopped the Daugherty car westbound in the 1200 block of West Washington. Police said the car was in the wrong lane without headlights.

Daugherty was being held in lieu of $500 bond to appear in court Monday. Minonk residents' father dies at 85 MINONK (PNS)-Mickal Walinskl, 85, Granville, father of two Minonk residents, died Tuesday in Ottawa, it was reported Friday. His funeral will be at 10 a.m. today 'at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Granville. Burial will be in Granville Cemetery.

Local survivors are Mrs. Helen Voyta and Mrs. Julie Romanoski. A son, a brother, five grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren also survive. David Graves David S.

Memorials may be made to Long Point Christian Church or the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Ethel Ecker BUCKLEY Mrs. Ethel Ecker, 55, of Watseka, a native of Buckley, died at 1:30 a.m. Friday at her home, following a sudden illness.

She and her husband, Norbert L. Ecker, operated the Montgomery Wards Catalog store in Watseka. Her funderal will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Calvary Lutheran Church, Watseka, with the Rev. J.

Robert Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in GAR Cemetery, Watseka. Visitation will start after 2 p.m. Saturday at the DeValk Funeral Home, Watseka and one hour before the service at the church. Mrs.

Ecker was born Nov. 24, 1916, In Buckley, a daughter of H.D. and Stella Day Bobbins. She spent her early years in the Roberts and Thawville area. She was married to Norbert Ecker Nov.

Ida Mer--riman. 82. died at 5:07 m. Thursday at Mcnnonite Hospital. Bloomington, where she had been a patient since August.

Joseph, she was the daughter of Fred and Kate Windish Denhart. Shi was married to Payson Merriman Sept. 22, 1909 at Mackinaw. Mrs. Merriman was a life member of Mackinaw Christian Church, its Christian Women's Fellowship and the Mackinaw Homemakcrs Extension Association.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy White, Mackinaw; one sister, Mrs. Clara Gillan, Princeton: two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. One son and a brother preceded her In death. Memorials may be made to Mackinaw Christian Church.

Mrs. Catherine Pate CLINTON (PNS) The funeral for Mrs. Catherine Maude Pate. 74, formerly of Clinton, who died Thursday in Bloomington, will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Pullen-Boos Funeral Chapel.

Miss Frances Lewis LEXINGTON (PNS) The funeral for Miss Frances Lewis, 96, who died Thursday at Maple Grove Nursing Home, will be at 2 p.m. today at the Musselman Funeral home. daughter of Jacob and Mary Hartman Nussbaum. She attended rural schools. Surviving are a brother.

Silas, Helen Smith Pavilion. Falrbury, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded In death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters. Miss Nussbaum was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church. Memorials may be mado to the Fairvlew Haven Nursing Home.

Mrs. Minnie Erikson WENONA (PNS) The funeral of Mrs. Minnie Erikson, 92, of Manito Springs. formerly of Wenona, who died Wednesday in Colorado Springs, will be at 2 p.m. today at Salem-burg Lutheran Church in Salcmburg, Kan.

Burial will be in th parish cemetery. Mrs. Erikson was born' Nov. 5, 1879, near Magnolia, a daughter of Frank O. and Sophia Gustafson Krantz.

She was married to the Rev. Gustaf Erikson in 1909 in Wenona. He preceded her in death. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Mable Dahlsten, Wenona; Mrs.

Bertha Holmstrom, Lindsborg, Mrs. Nettie Wilcox. Los Altos, a half brother, Elroy Krantz. Blair, Neb. Also preceding her in death were two brothers and three sisters.

Mrs. Erikson attended Wenona schools and the Augustana College of Music in Rock Island. She was organist at the Bethany Lutheran Church In Wenona unlil her marriage. She and her husband moved from Wenona to Bertrand, and then to Salemburg, where they lived many years. Mrs.

Gertrude Gerber DANVERS (PNS) Mrs. Gertrude Gerber, 79. of 806 W. Division, Normal, died at 4:30 a.m. Friday at St.

Joseph's Hospital, Bloomington. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Otto-Argo Funeral Home, Danvers. The Rev. Philip Queen will officiate and burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation is 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Born June 12, 1892 in Wellington, she was the daughter of Isaac and Susie Albin Stiger. She was married to Elmer Gerber Jan. 23, 1940 in Crown Point, Ind.

He died June 12, 1953. Mrs. Gerber was a member of Second Presbyterian Church, Bloomington, and the Dry Grove Homemakers Extension Association. Surviving are two stepdaughters, Mrs. Ruth Kums, Chicago; and Mrs.

Helen Burgess, Gooding, Idaho; two stepsons, Charles, Wheaton; and Joseph, Nacogdoches, and one sister, Miss Minnie Stiger, also of 806 W. Division, Normal.
