Chang testified against one gang member who was convicted in federal court and gave prosecutors information that helped convict 10 others in state court.

Both Assistant District Attorney Eric Herschmann, who prosecuted the state case, and Assistant U.S. Attorney Ram Seymour, who tried the federal case, say Chang was vital to the successful prosecutions.
