Miss Helen Cleary, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Patrick Cleary of El Paso, was married to William Cunningham, only son Mr. and J. Cunningham of Bloomington, in a ceremony Saturday morning at St. Mary's church in El Paso. The Rev.

S. E. Aout officiated at the double ceremony. The bridegroom's was the one used ting, at the wedding of his grandparents, the late Mr. and Mrs.

Patrick O'Rourke, in 1883. The church was decorated with Madonna llies and roses. Presiding at the organ was Miss Josephine Michels, who played the "Lohengrin" bridal chorus for the entrance of the bridal party and accompanied Ed Barclay, who sang "Ave Maria" and a number of hymns. The bridesmaid was Miss Margaret Cunningham, sister of the bridegroom. Leo Cleary, brother of the bride, was the best man and Edwin Cleary and Joseph Kearney were the ushers.

The bride was becomingly gowned in white angel skin lace over white satin, fashioned on princess lines. Her veil was three-quarter length, extending into a point and trailing slightly in the back. Her only adornment was a white sapphire necklace, the gift of the bridegroom. She carried an arm bouquet of white roses and swensonia. Miss Cunningham wore a gown of pink angel skin lace over pink satin, also fashioned on princess lines.

Her accessories were blue and she carried an arm bouquet of pink roses and delphinium. Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served to 30 relatives and friends at the home of the bride's parents. Rev. Fr. Aout was among the guests.

Mr. Cunningham and his bride left immediately by automobile for northern points. For traveling the bride had chosen a navy blue and white suit of alpaca cloth with matching accessories, After couple will be at home at 503 East Jackson street, Bloomington. Mr. Cunningham is employed by the Holder Hardware company here.

Among Spectators at Four City Tournament Holy Trinity Bridal Scene Miss Vera Capodice to Become Bride of Warren Wheeler. Miss Vera Capodice, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mariano Capodice, 1315 East Grove street, will become the bride of Warren Wheeler, son of Mr. and Mrs.

E. W. Wheeler, South Gridley street, at a ceremony to be held at Holy Trinity church at 11 a. m. Sunday.

The Rev. Fr. Stephen N. Moore will officiate at the high nuptial mass and wedding ceremony. The music of the mass be sung by Mr.

and Mrs. Spencer Green; the latter a classmate of the bride at Trinity high school, will preside at the organ. The bride will enter the church on the arm of her father. Her gown will be of white chantilly lace over white taffeta. She will wear a full veil of silk tulle, adorned with tiny rosettes of white satin, made by the bride's mother.

She will carry white morocco bound prayer book, the gift of the bridegroom, with ribbon orchid. markers, will each ending with an She wear gold cross which has belonged in the family for many generations, the gift of the bride's grandmother, Mrs. Vera Rimi, to her namesake. Sister Is Maid of Honor. Miss Marietta Capodice, sister of the bride, as maid of honor will wear aquamarine embroidered organdie, with a wide Leghorn hat trimmed to match her gown, and will colonial bouquet.

The bridesmaids will include Miss Anna Marie Capodice, sister of the bride, wearing painted organdie in pastel green, over satin to match; Miss Mary Louise Gaeta of Muscatine, Iowa, intimate friend of the bride, in salmon organdie, and Miss Antoinette Capodice, also a sister of the bride, will wear sky blue organdie. All will wear the wide Leghorn hats with matching trimming, and will carry colonial bouquets. Little Rosemary Nottoli, niece of the bride, as flower girl, will wear a frock of blue and pink organdie, and will have a miniature colonial bouquet. Groom's Brother Best Man. Paul Wheeler, brother of the bridegroom, be his best man, while the ushers will include Edward Ulbrich, Carl Berry and Tony Capodice, brother of the bride.

Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast will be served at the home of the bride's parents for a company of 60 guests. Invitations have been issued for a wedding reception from 7 to 10 p. m. Sunday at the Illinois hotel, when 200 guests will be received. The bride is a graduate of Trinity high school and of Illinois State Normal university.

The bridegroom was graduated from McLean high school, and attended a school of engineering at Charleston, S. C. He is employed by the Caterpillar Tractor company of Peoria. Following a wedding journey to Iowa by automobile, for which the bride's costume will be of yellow crepe, with long brown fitted coat and brown accessories, the couple will be at home to friends in Peoria. and I i Club Meets and I club members met Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs.

C. N. Stansbury, 911 North Oak street. Prizes were won by Mrs. Frank Riser, Miss Catherine Hartnett and Mrs.

Carrie Carroll, with the general prize by Mrs. O. S. Dunlap. The next meeting will be held July 12 with Mrs.

J. A. Shults, 528 East Mulberry street, I Dances, Dining Rule Holiday Bloomington, Lakeside, Maplewood Clubs Have Traditional Celebration. The Fourth of July week is traditionally khown as a festival time at the Country clubs. Many out of town visitors, often spend the week in the city, make all' Al the club functions gay affairs.

Bloomington Country club men will spend a bury day in sports Thursday. By the tradition of that club, men rule the sports on days. But the cool club house and the shady nooks will welcome many spectators, and with the late afternoon family parties will begin to assemble for the grove picnic which is one of the summer's happiest events. Coffee and dessert are served from the club house; otherwise, the dinner is a genuine base ket picnic, beginning at 6 p. m.

With the dusk will come works, and then the early hour of the annual Children's Fourth of July dance, on the silvery platform, By 8:30 p. m. the adults will begin to claim the dance floor, and the holiday dance will be on. The week at the club will include its bridge and golf luncheon on Tuesday and Friday. Although Saturday night there was no nounced dinner, nor dance, yet than the hot city and dined in the cool air of the club.

A business meeting will be followed by a social hour. The hostesses for the afternoon will be Mrs. Gordon Schultz, Mrs. Owen Miller and Miss Naomi Gibbss. Miss McCue Bride of Arnold Perry Ceremony Is Performed at Church in Peoria.

Miss Edna Blanche McCue, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. H. McCue of Bloomington, became the bride of Arnold B.

Perry, son of Mr. and Mrs. George B. Perry, 1506 East Oakland avenue, in a ceremony at 5 p. m.

Saturday at Central Christian church of Peoria. The Rev. Clifford E. Hanson of, Rock Island, formerly pastor of the West Twin Grove Christian church, read the service. The attendants were Mr.

Perry's brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. Willis B. Perry of Peoria. The bride wore a pink lace gown with white accessories and carried an arm bouquet of tea roses and snapdragons.

The matron of honor wore a poudre blue crepe gown and carried an arm bouquet of roses. After a journey to Chi. cago and Wisconsin, Mr. and Mrs. Perry will return to Bloomington and will be at home after July 15 at 604 East Grove street.

Both the bride and bridegroom are graduates of Bloomington high school. Mr. Perry is employed by Montgomery Ward and company and Mrs. Perry by the State Farm Mutual Insurance companies. 0 S.

U. V. Auxiliary District to Meet District four of auxiliaries of Sons of Union Veterans will meet at 2 p. m. Sunday at the McBarnes Memorial building.

Miss wart, president, will preside. The annual district election will be held. A supper will be served at 5 p. m. for those present.

and Mrs. J. F. Keller of Hudson, and Lyle Swope, son of Mrs. Ella Swope, also of Hudson, were married at 10:30 a.

The Rev. T. K. Shubert, pastor lot church, the Hudson officiated at Methodist the single Episcopal ring service in the presence of the immediate families. The attendants were Mr.

C. Keller and niece of the bride, served as ring bearer, carrying the ring in a rosebud. The house was decorated with baskets of roses and gypsophila. The bride wore a gown of white crepe with matching accessories and a shoulder corsage of white gardenias. The matron of honor wore a gown of yellow and brown crepe with matching accessories and a shoulder corsage of yellow roses and sweet peas.

The little ring bearer wore a ruffled frock of white organdy. The bride is a graduate of Normal Community high school and has attended Illinois State Normal university. She has taught for several years in the schools of McLean county. Mr. Swope attended Hudson schools and i is a farmer in that vicinity.

Following the ceremony, the couple departed for a wedding journey with destination unannounced. The bride's traveling costume was of navy blue and white. After July 15 Mr. and Mrs. Swope will be at home on the bridegroom's farm west of Hudson.

Lydia Engel, 408 East Walnut street, was solemnized at noon Friday the marriage of Miss Ella Mae Yoder of Normal and Walter D. Kincaid of Oquawka. The bride is the youngest daughter of the late Mrs. Mattie Yoder. She attended Illinois State Normal university and has taught in McLean county schools for 23 years, the last 16 of them in the Normal public schools.

Mr. Kincaid is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. D.

Kincaid of Little York. He attended public schools of Henderson county. In the World war he served overseas as corporal of company 126th Infantry, 32nd division, for two months. He had entered the service May 27, 1918. He is prominent in the church and social life of his community.

The Rev. H. C. Smith of Bethany Baptist church, Peoria, performed the ceremony in the presence of the immediate relatives. After the service, a luncheon was served.

The bride wore a blue flowered chiffon dress with a white hat and carried a bouquet of blue dephinI ium and tea roses. Eleanor Jean Linden, small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Linden, served as flower girl. Elmo J.

Engel, nephew of the bride, sang, "I Love You Truly," accompanied by Miss Downs, who also played Mendelssohn's Wedding march. Others present at the ceremony were Mrs. Maggie McDevitt, Miss Ethel Streid, Mr. and Mrs. J.

H. Roszhart of Chenoa, Mrs. J. K. Yoder of Hydro, Mrs.

Vera Martin, Mrs. George Linden, Miss Carolyn Arbogast and Mrs. H. C. Smith.

Mr. and Mrs. Kincaid left immediately for their home at Oquawka. Young Democratic Women to Assemble The Young Women's Democratic club will meet at 7:15 p. m.

Monday at the Hotel Rogers. Mrs. Ruth Hollingsworth will preside. and have its tables for cards, with Mr. and Mrs.

John Hurst and Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Morris as hosts and hostesses.

Since the Fourth of July falls on Thursday, the auxiliary will not hold its regular bridge luncheon. At the last one, Mra. Max Klenner and Mrs. Dan nors were winners of the day rizes, with Mrs. Loren B.

Lewis, lary president, and Mrs. E. S. Rayner, vice president, and president of the Women's City Golf association, as June tournament winners. On the eve of the Fourth of July Lakeside club, by its regular custom, will hold a cabaret dinner dance, to music by an excellent orchestra.

This will begin at 7 p. m. Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs.

James Costello and Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Fiellin as host and hostess committee.

Successions of athletic events take place throughout Thursday at Lakeside, including medal play for the President's trophy. A large family picnic is an annual event for the Fourth of July night, anticipated at Lakeside. Maplewood Country club gives up most of its holiday to athletics. The golf course is reported to especially good condition, and" the events at this club are not for men alone. Women will have ample representation in the Fourth of July golf.

Bridge is unusually popular this spring at Maplewood. Instead of a holiday dance, there will be a dinner and bridge party to be held at 7 p. m. Friday, and a contract bridge night, directed by Mrs. M.

L. Smith will be held at 7:30 p. m. Monday at the club house. The auxiliary will hold its lunch at 1 p.

m. Tuesday, preceded golf, beginning at 10 a. and followed by bridge at 2 p. m. A company of 50 dined Friday night at Maplewood, and many tables were placed later for bridge.

Many women at the clubs are cussing the coming Women's City Golf tournament. Mrs. E. S. Rayner, president of the association, has announced that the practice week will begin July 7, with the tournament proper to open Monday, July 15, on Lakeside Country club icouase..
