To date, 1,921 people have been vacci- nated by the local health department. As more than 14,000 seniors have signed up for vaccination, the health de- partment said Thursday afternoon it had closed its online registration portal in anticipation of an upgraded system. The department did not say when a new system will be expected. A spokesperson for the department said will honor all current regis- trations for the vaccine.

The department also has partnered with the Leon County Emergency Man- agement to automate a call back system that will let those people who have already registered for a vaccine know that their information has been received. The new store is coming to the cor- ner of Crawfordville Highway and Songbird Avenue in Crawfordville.

Garret Randolph, 56, was arrested on a charge of false imprisonment and taken to the Leon County Detention Fa- cility, according to court records. The arrest stemmed from an inci- dent that happened Sept. 30 at a Miccosukee Road address. The Census worker was taking notes in her car when a Ford SUV pulled up from behind, blocking her ve- hicle from leaving. An irate man, later as Randolph, got out and started yelling that she was trespassing on his property.

She herself as a Census employee and showed him her ID, ac- cording to an arrest report.
