Fairview Brief* Kayo Slater, Boyd Evans, Joe Trunks and Fred Masocco spent the weekend in Wisconsin fish' ing. Mrs. Larry Utsinger left Friday for her home in Fort Worth, Tex., after spending the past five weeks with her father and brother Dale Paull and Bill, and her brother -in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Billie Williams, and Brenda Sue. Mrs. Louise Langenstein and Mrs. Lillian Stuckey were called to Belleville Friday by the illness of Mrs. Langenstein's mother. Miss Gussie Griffith of Lombard is visiting in the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Masocco and Mr. and Mrs. Galen Mitchell and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Myers of Minneapolis, Minn., are visiting in the home of their brother- in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Hartough. Mrs. Esther Ray and Mrs. Lucille Mengel visited Sunday in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Olin Turner in Quincy. Mrs. Alta Latimer returned home Sunday from spending two weeks in the home of her son-in- law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Spenny in Glasford. Mrs. Sandra Kelly and two children Karen Sue and Allen Ray spent the past two weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Huffman, and son Larry. Mr. and Mrs. Galen Mitchell of Fairview and Miss Gussie Griffith of Lombard were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Bradley of Swan Creek. The Woman's Synodical Conference met at Randolph, Wis., Sept. 10-11. Those attending from Fairview as delegates were Mrs. Howard Voliland, Mrs. Jacob Lindstrom and Mrs. Bartel Blysma. Altonan Returns From California ALTONA — Mrs. Oliver Nelson returned home Friday from a visit of several months in California. She visited with her sister, Mrs. Avid Scherenzel at Oakland, with her aunt, Mrs. T. C. Chinn at Los Gatos and other relatives at Sacramento and Los Altos and at Reno, Nev. READ THE CLASSIFIEDS!
