Every Sealy Serta Perfect for less! Accountant Found Slain in Apartment A 54-year-old tax RMnunfaint was found murdered in his Upper West Side apartment Monday night, police said. Henry Neyrey'a employers at Bankers Trust became worried when he did not appear for work for three days. At 5 p.m. Monday tax accountants brother, Richard Neyrey, who lives in cut-cheater, went with the police to his brothers first-floor apartment at 230 Riverside Drive. The superintendent let them in and Neyrey found his brother lying face down in the living room.

He was clad only in a leather harness on his head, a black leather wristband, and black leather work boots and had been dead for several days, police said. Ellen Barcove, spokeswoman for the medical examiners office, said that Neyrey had died of blunt force injuries to the head, as well aa multiple fractures of the skull and facial bones. Last night, police said they had no suspects Eind had not established a motive in the killing. Police said the door to the -apartment was locked, the windows were secured, and the apartment was in disarray. No weapons were found inside.

Neyrey had last been seen on the night of July 9, police said. Thomas Parisi, a senior vice president with Bankers Trust, said Neyrey was an assistant vice president who had worked for the hank for seven years. He worked in downtown Manhattan, Parisi said. He said Neyrey "was regarded as a very competent accountant. People had respect for him as a professional.

The doormen at Neyreys apartment building on Riverside Drive, between 95th and 96th Streets, said Neyrey had lived in the building for more than 15 years, hut appeared to know few of the tenants. Coney Islands parachute jump. Cyclone roller coaster and the Wonder Wheel are being considered for official city landmark status.

The City Tndmarka Preservation Commission yesterday scheduled public hearings for Sept. 15 on the three amusement park rides which have helped shape the skyline and memories of Coney a Island for generations of fun-seekers. "yVe seldom see things of this nature any more," said Commission Chairman Gene Norman. "They dont make them any more. The famed Cyclone is celebrating its 60th anniversary, while the 150-fbot-tall Wonder Wheel will hoist its 30-millionth passenger this summer.

landmark status, however, would not mean permanency or re-opening of the dilapidated city-owned parachute jump. Landmark status is only binding on private owners the city does not have to abide by its own landmark regulation. "It just means were not going to teat it down so easily," said Parks Commissioner Henry Stem, who said the steel tower was "a wreck." Stem said repairs to the parachute jump could be part of a new Steeplechase amusement park. The Cyclone, also city-owned, is leased and operated as part of Astroland. Denos Vourderia, an ex-boardwalk pushcart vendor, owns the refurbished Wonder Wheel.

"He and my mother always dreamed of owning the Wonder Wheel," said his son Dennis. As for the parachute jump, commission member Elliot Willensky, Brooklyns official historian, said hed like to see it open again. "I want to hear the screams again of people plunging earthward.
