East End students share their views on Daylight-Saving Time LAURIN BOGGERO 5th grade Briiing The alarm clock goes off an hour earlier. Woops! I fell asleep in class. The only good thing about day-light savings time is after you've finished your homework you still have time to go outside and play. The best thing about daylight savings time is we have longer to enjoy God's beautiful creations. We finally get used to daylight savings time so we don't fall asleep in class.

When you get up it's still dark. However it stays lighter outside longer. In the summer, daylight savings time affects supper. You have a lot of time before it gets dark to do whatever you want to, so most of the time supper is late. During May about 9:00 or 9:30 it is still light outside and you don't feel like going to bed.

Daylight Savings Time will cause many problems for people. You will have to go to school or work in the dark and also wake up to darkness. For the people who like to stay outdoors and cook out or swim and play sports, daylight savings time will be good. How does Daylight Savings Time affect you Daylight Savings Time means time usually one hour ahead of standard time, the only way this "new time" affects me is by getting to stay outside later. By this, we save electricity because we don't need as much light until later.
