Fresno Manpower Program Faces 1 9 Million Cut By John Crowe The Fresno City-County Manpower -Commission faces a $19 million cut-back in funding for job programs ac-' to 1974-75 fiscal guidelines i- released today by the US Department of Labor Secretary of Labor Peter Bren-nan released the figures' to help prospective sponsors plan local government manpower programs The' House and Senate are particularly those most economically disadvantaged get and keep good jobs Implementation date is July 1 Title II grants will enable sponsors to provide public service employment or manpower service-authorized under Title I to eligible residents of areas where there is substantial unemployment Total funding will be about $15 billion for all states and an estimated 350 local governments
