The pair, who switched their pleas from not guilty to guilty after the jury had been selected, were Henry Favors and Hill Duval. Duval was charged with gambling and Favors was accused of permitting his Marin City apartment to be used for gambling purposes. The alleged offenses occurred on March 5.

Novato Bake Sale This Saturday The pre-Easter bake sale, sponsored annually by the Ladies Auxiliary of the Donald V. Westlund Post of the of Foreign Wars in Novato, will be held Market, Grant avenue and First street, on Saturday morning starting at 10. A baked ham will be awarded to a sale patron. Cakes, pies and other confections suitable for Easter dinner or dessert will be available, all home-made. Libraries Plan Easter Stories Easter story hours will be held at the Fairfax and Kentfield branches of the Marin County Library. The story hour at Kentfield will be tomorrow. The story teller, Robin Tracy of Greenbrae, has arranged a story hour for younger children at 2:30 and for older children at 3:30. At Fairfax stories will be told at 3:30 on Friday.
