Joyce, Nancy and Tommy recently came from Minneapolis to attend a family reunion at the Elmer Lud- u-igs at West Bond. In attendance were the parents, Mr and Mrs K. .1. Ludwig, the others sons and daughters-in-law, Messers. and Mesdamos Bill, Vernell, Arnold and Paul Ludwig and the respective families. Leo Ludwigs were unable to be present, nor were the two daughters. 91st Birthday Mrs Haltie Witham observed her !)lst birthday Saturday, .July !) and was given' a party by her daughter. Plan Farm Visit, Picnic Membeis of the Kiwanis club will be guests of the Rural Youth group next Tlnnsday when at Com- o'clock they will meet on the library lawn and bo taken via loads of baled hay to the Hugh Black farm. There they will be shown a modern farm. A chic-ken dinner prepared by tin. 1 girls will be served alter the inspection. It is planned to entertain other groups at vai ions times. Gadc Family Reunion The Gade Reunion was hold Sunday nt, the Algona Fairgrounds and after a picnic dinner, the business meeting was hold. President elected was Robert Bell, secretary elected was Arthur Gade and on the Committee for next year is Mr and Mrs Walter Bell, Mr and Mrs Emil Bierstedt, Mi- and Mrs Wilbur Roeber, and Mr and Mrs Edwin Wittkopf. Games were played and prizes awarded.
